Good morning friends ... walker, what a great idea for your Christmas Cheer Gathering (I like that name) and for having a simple menu ... like you said people can graze when they want and end with Sundae's ... that's a perfect idea for a great evening ... (an idea that I may steal at some point) ... I hope you are able to get your inventory taken care of ...

kittyfan, time is just flying by ... I had half of a typed out post on here from yesterday that I forgot to finish and send ... I must have been trying to get too many things done at once ...

cookie, the devastation from the tornadoes is horrible ... I heard on the news yesterday that one block of a neighborhood lost 7 children to it ... so, so sad!! 🙏

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸☕️💨💨💨💨💨

HOLY COW....WINDY HERE!!!  It has been all night!  Thankfully, we have power and no outside damage...I don't think....hope my outside decorations are still there...still a bit dark out.  I worry about all the trees we have in back too.  🤞 Crazy weather!  And today is garbage day....oh joy! 

It is hard to feel the Christmas spirit when so many are suffering for one reason or another.  But, looking forward to our family gathering tomorrow.   I love appetizers and get a little carried away....oh well...if I have too much I can just "graze" until the new year!  Ha!  Will let you know how my great idea works out.  Sundaes will be good...can't mess those up...haha.  

cookie, somehow your family there pulls together a good plan....you just have to sit back and enjoy!  And, take care of the kitties!

kittyfan, so true...time is flying!!!  Where has this month...this year gone?  I have to think twice now about what day it is!!!  Thanks for those jelly beans..yum...funny I actually thought of getting some for an ice cream topping...LOL....no....maybe M&Ms..ha. 

Tootie, LG's birthday is Sunday.....party planned?  Fun, fun!  Then more fun at Christmas too.  Busy days.

We will be celebrating LG's birthday on Saturday (DIL has to work this weekend so they thought Saturday would work best) it will be a fun time ... he's talking up a storm now!!

We are having some very high winds here now with rain ... lights flickering ... did you lose power at all??

Good evening. Game day today. Chatty Kathy was her usual chatterbox. She was a teacher for 30 years. One lady commented that her poor students couldn't ask a question!!!

The damage reports are difficult to watch.

We have been having record warm temos. Will change on Saturday.

kittyfan, I have to laugh about the Chatty Kathy comments....I have a friend who taught for 40 years and loves to TALK!!!!  Everyone knows it....she doesn't get it.  If I am on phone with her, DH knows who it is because I am not talking.....all he hears is.....ummm.....uh..huh...hmmm...

🤣!!   Yes, maybe students can't get a chance for asking question in those classrooms...haha.

I have not seen a shortage of cream cheese here.  I use it more for dips than cheesecake.  

I was reading a thread about other boards on QTalk...have you seen it....all I can say is glad I did not go to ProBoards.

I get in trouble whenever I leave the Recipe Forum..haha! 

Good luck with weather, Tootie.  We did not lose power but it was very windy all day....trash flying!!  Can't wait to hear about LG's birthday party....lots of cars and trucks maybe?

I got into Santa's workshop and wrapped most gifts.  I need to pick up a couple of gift bags tomorrow.  Let fun begin...and be done....ha!

walker, I did read about the Other Boards and am glad I didn't sign up.  I am a creature of habit and appreciate the recipe Forum and the wonderful friends here😊

Another laugh about Chatty Cathy kittyfan.  Her poor students😒.  Frusttrating for them.  This may be the last warm day - rain predicted Saturday and Sunday.  Yards will love it. Good day to stay home with a good book or Kindle.

Some of us are getting very good at Bump Dancing.  Think there's a chance for a new TV show?  Could be called Dancing with the Bump's?  I'll stop while I'm behind or turn into another Chatty Cathy - Chatty Cookie 😂

Tootie, my thoughts exactly (and agree with cookie too)....as I read through that thread I just thought...how ridiculous is this?  Oh well....so it goes....I've gotten myself caught "in the mud" a few times because I decide to give an opinion.  I need to stick with the SCC!

Trucks, cars and books...perfect age for those things, Tootie.  I love, love children's books....enjoy the reading with LG and LS.  Have you seen the book Chicka-Chicka-Boom-Boom...fun ABC book.  Of course, everyone knows about A Very Hungry Caterpillar.  👍 As kids get older....cute Halloween book is called The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything...another fun one.  Another one...It Looked Like a Cloud.....I used to look at clouds with kids and say...what does that cloud shape look like?  FUN..FUN...so many good books for children.

Now who is the Chatty Cathy here?  Better ZIP IT....busy day....things to do...places to go....HO HO HO.....woke up during night thinking I have too much food for tonight....as always....HA.....tomorrow I can invite neighbors in for Leftover Night!!!

Oh grazathon what fun. Of trucks, cars, and books. Love to see kids enjoy books. My mom and dad read to us and my mom took us yo bookmobile for books. Another blast from the past!! When we got older would ride bikes over and pick up cousins snd thdn to grab books.

At TS Nurse Brenda and I were discussing book club books. T, jumped in to say she didn't read and didn't enjoy it. Well I am grateful my parents encouraged us!!

Hi all.....taking my UB!!!  One appetizer to go and then get cleaned up, set up, etc.  Got gift bags this morning so need to get those ready too.  HO HO HO....glad they are not coming  until after 6pm.  

kittyfan, that is surprising about Nurse Brenda saying she did not enjoy reading.  I did not do as much reading when I was young ....just into other things I guess...then got older, had kids...too busy....but, now so glad I have the time for books and enjoy it!
