Hello friends .... I got it walker and I thank you!! it sounds delicious ...

I just finished folding laundry and am taking a break before I put it away ... everyday chores are just one big vicious circle! they never end 😁 ..

Oh no walker, sorry to hear about your DB ... I hope he can shake this once and for all ... thoughts and prayers for him and the family!!

I scheduled my booster for next Monday ... even though I fall out of the "requirements" for my state, our governor said anyone can get it "no questions asked" because of our high Covid cases ... so I'm getting it!!

Glad you got recipe, Tootie.  I know there are probably a lot of similar recipes out there.  This is only one that hit me and seemed easiest enough to fix.  You could add whatever vegetables you like, I guess.  

Heard from my brother today.  He was feeling better.  He met with doctors who said he has a head cold not Covid.  In fact, he finally passed a couple of Covid tests.  Glad to hear this because you never know with this disease.  I hope this passes and he is done with being sick!  

Glad you scheduled your booster, Tootie.  Get it and be done!  If you have a reaction, it will pass in a day.  I think I recall you had reaction after shot #2?  That happened with friend of mine.  So, when she had booster she had no reaction.  Funny how it affects everyone differently ...women more than men...NO FAIR!

walker, glad to hear your DB is feeling better and it was a head cold NOT COVID!  Passing a couple of tests was a good thing.  Sending good thoughts for him.

Tootie, I am on the fence about the booster shot. November is my sixth month wait so I will schedule soon.  I am not sure I fall into the "requirements" group but will try anyway.  I did read about your state being so high with COVID cases.  I think we have gone up considerably as well.  It seems to change daily😕

kittyfan, glad to hear you are utilizing UB's - of all people, I think you would benefit most  as much as you do!  How is the Cafe doin - hope things are going well.

walker, glad to hear that your DB has a cold and nothing worse ... hope he continues to feel better ... I did get a reaction after my 2nd shot, in fact, I didn't feel all that great after my flu and shingle shot as well ... my booster is scheduled for 7pm, so maybe I'll sleep through any reactions??

cookie, I called around for my booster ... the first place I called was a 4 week wait so I hunted for something earlier ... we have a couple drugstore pharmacies that we like to go to.

We'll have a 60 degree day here!! Spring?? ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing ...

I guess kittyfan and I did a BUMP last night.  Good thing Alphabet Police were not looking! 😁 Happy to know you are enjoying UBs too, kittyfan.  And, yes, it felt good to be back in church on my birthday...especially this one...you can hear a pin drop ...so quiet...old seats that are straight back and wooden....no falling asleep...ha!

Thank you for nice thoughts on my brother.  I was really concerned when he called on my birthday.  I just thought a Covid relapse...not good!  Thankful to hear better news yesterday.  

Good luck with those booster shots, cookie and Tootie.

I feel better knowing I have had mine.  But, I still feel very cautious again since numbers are rising.  I don't think our area is too bad though.

Well, guess I will go look for paper again.  It has been coming early.....but not consistently.  Not sure if we will keep or cancel yet.

Hello friends ... walker, I hope you got your paper at a decent time this morning ... I forgot to mention that I was glad that you enjoyed your visit to church ... I do miss going but (especially now with our cases on the upswing) we won't be going back .. just yet. So we'll continue our Church of the Coach!! 😂

We're at 62 mild degrees right now but cold weather and rain moving in overnight.

Hi there.....another day rolls by.....made myself stay home today for chores....countdown to kids arrival on Friday.  Everything but the red carpet ready....ha!  Tomorrow couple of errands and organize food prep.  Dinner here for 14 of us Friday.  Then we will gather again next Tuesday at DD's....followed by Thanksgiving brunch here.  In between, they will do their own thing. DIL has family in area too.  

By the way, in case I am a bit off checking in here....that is why for awhile.  I should be able to get on once a day.

What do you all have planned for Thanksgiving?  DS and family have to fly back Thanksgiving afternoon.  😟 That's ok, we will have had our time together.  We will have dinner with DS/DIL/3A's.  DD has to go to in-laws.

Tootie, we will stick with Church on the Couch awhile longer too.  This special church for weekday Mass was a treat on my birthday.

Well, all for today.  Chat with you in the morning.  OH...paper came after 8:00....I had already read it online..😬.  But, I did see that our Covid hospitalizations are up....geeez....will this ever get better????

Thanks kittyfan for prepping the morning coffee 💗.  Is the Pecan Pie you had  from a shop, I think it's in Houston and called the Pie Place or something like that?  My GS and GD always bring home a buttermilk pie for us when the go down to visit their nephew.  Delicious!

Tootie, laughing at your Church of the COACH 😄 I excused the Alphabet and Spelling Police letting them know that it is better to enjoy our mistakes than to be in Alphabet/Spelling Jail😌 But I sure enjoyed laughing!  Another good one!!!😍

walker, you sure will be busy for awhile!  Fun with family.  Sounds like you have it all worked out.  As always, plans around here are nebulous. I will be happy with a Taco (w/Jalapeno Peppers of course).  I will miss sweet potato casserole and stuffing though.  Ahhh, well we do have a week to prepare😃  

We will be 63, maybe windy and cloudy - maybe!  I do enjoy cooler weather.
