Hi friends.....☔️....rain has moved in here....humid day so I put A/C back on....I think tomorrow will be cooler.  

Tootie, I followed your good directions of getting onto ProBoards....very easy....but, guess you do have to register to get beyond first page of forums now.  Will wait and see what happens here. I have mixed feelings about joining.  Maybe it won't be necessary.  We do have our back-up plan in place so that is most important. 👍.

kittyfan, however you are spending your day, I hope you are having a Happy Day-Happy Birthday!

Oh thanks so much for the BD wishes. Just a quiet day. I am on FB so had lots of BD wishes. My old boss and another coworker texted. We are not FB friends but still keep in touch.

Yesterday attended aides meeting. First one in two years die to Covid. It was at a church in country. One of the painted churches very old. Happy we just met in gym. Usually meet in sanctuary. Since it is so old pews are very narrow and uncomfortable. Wasn't planning on attending but did. We host in spring. With our little group. It was a long day and no Cafe

Cookie: there was a wedding on Saturday but at a venue. Cafe hosted a private event. Now they know where to find it hope they enjoy!!!! I saw wedding pics on FB. Looked like aovely event.

Tomorrow is book club. Usually this lady picks Mexican but picked restaurant close to my house. I enjoy supporting local.

I contacted pharmacy about refill. Usually they text me. Well had to sign on. Couldn't remember password. One attemp left. Decided to reset. Couldn't use one I had used in ladt six!!! I couldn't remember one much less six!!! Got my refill ordered. Not eligible for auto.sric refill. Not sure why but one more thing to remember o handle!!

The only plus is they will mail to me. No pharmacy pickup

kittyfan, your mixup with passwords is beginning to be a normal thing with some places.  I use our wonderful grocery store on line  to order my scripts and they say after all these years I am not in the system!  But..... when I click on Pharmacy Refills, it comes right up and I can order.  I lprefer ordering on line and picking up at the drive thru.  This Tech stuff can be so annoying!

We all plopped at the house and relaxed from all the celebrations.  BFF and I got to have an even longer chat.  DS fell asleep on the couch and DS and her friend went shopping for last minute dinner things.  Everyone was really tired and went home after hot fudge sundaes.  I am still very tired.  Have to go get my car inspection this morning, then home and a huge UB!

Tootie, did you get the booster shot or the second shot?    How were the Rosalee apples?  Inquiring friends need to know😊.

walker, I may not be old as you put it, but oh boy am I tired!!!  So glad Tootie invented the UB!

DS and BFF flying out today and the chaos around here will be pretty much back to normal again.  Sure enjoyed seeing them. Great B'day all in all.

Good morning friends ... cookie, this was just the regular flu shot that I got and this is the first time that I got sick from it ... still not feeling that great this morning ... headache, muscle ache and very tired ... looks like I'll be joining your for a day of UB's ... so glad that you had a nice birthday weekend with your friend.

walker, you are right about the ProBoards... since they are private you have to register to lurk ... at this point, since we really don't have to join, I have mixed feelings about it ... I've read some blogs on here about it ... some people are glad they joined others are not ... oh well, I'll worry about that when we have to, we still have our other means of communication ... DD took the day off for her birthday and spent it with her BF .. among the things she wanted to do was go to the zoo (hadn't been there in forever) and then he cooked dinner for her! ... did you try the Rosalee apples yet?

Happy Tuesday!  Ladies.....rest and recharge....we have our BIG BIRTHDAY BASH on Saturday!  After Tootie's reaction from flu shot, I am nervous about getting mine on Friday.  Hope I don't have a reaction.  If so, QA can go on auto-pilot and party is being catered.....by our one and only Chef!  He insisted saying he just loves our SCC group....we are the most-fun-crazy-ladies he knows!  He is a little concerned about the strange guy ....aka CE ...showing up...🙄....anything possible, I guess.  Stay tuned for plans later in week.  I was thinking QA could make one unplanned stop at fun place.  Any requests?

I did try one Rosalee apple...think I need to try another.  I thought it was good but not a Wow-Good!  DH thought his was delicious.  That happens to me...if something is really talked up....I end up disappointed.  More apple reviews later.

cookie and kittyfan, glad you enjoyed nice birthdays ....more celebrating to come.   Tootie, sounds like your DD had a nice day too....oh boy, her BF fixing dinner too....any wedding bells in their future?  I love weddings but those are all done in our family and extended families.

I had the flu shot. My arm was sore but no side effects. I had an apt at pharmacy. I know the pharmacists are very busy and one more thing! This one was very impatient. I had the booster with Nurse Brenda. Didn't feel it but arm was really sore. She said she has been thousands of shots over time and these use a very fine needle and small dosage.

Of Cookie sounds like a fabulous time. Hot fudge sundaes. My favorite.

There have been a bumber of lost tortoise s in my area. U had no idea so many kept them as pets. There was a house on the highway that had a missing tortoise sign out for over a year. Well after 18 months she found him. Posted a big sign with balloons he was home. Saw him in yard. He us huge. About 100 lbs plus. Saw thar during mating season they wander. Can't have two as they fight. I know in the area there was a very large one who would appear in pet parades. Lost him in a fire at their property. Until this one came up missing I didn't know so many pets.

Need to get moving.

I think the Probiards was started so quickly they were probably issues. I am happy with our current situation.

Home from book club. Had a nice discussion with five. I think the venue was chosen to support local. Food is really good.

Hard to get out due yo traffic. We had seen a fire truck zip by. There was a truck overturned losing it load just across intersection. Home to sprinkles. Now thunder boomers. Safely in for evening.

Opera house is doing a mystery theater. With a matinee. I am still boycotting but did look. Ticket prices almost double and parking lot gone. Helpless Hannah said she wanted to go. No I am not offering. I seem to end up on short end!!!
