Thought I would check in. I picture Tootie partied out with the Littles and Cookie dealing with endless paperwork. Hope thru had a lovely visit.

Checked in with my last boss. She is an avid FB fan. We even had a contrast wall in her office painted burnt orange! It was really nicely done. Then I checked with a friend who was happy the other team won!

Saw my deet this morning. Well some of them.

We were partied out kittyfan ... LG is so funny, learning and repeating new words and we "danced" the night away to Winnie the Pooh ... LS is getting big and doing well, full of coos and smiles ... when the deer come through do your pups let you know??

cookie, I bet you are tired out from your busy weekend ... did your DS and friend come back after their visit to San Antonio?? ...

Good morning ~

The day after the day after!  Spent the day relaxing.  GS and BFF(his "other" mother) were gone most of the day in SA enjoying her G'son. They had a good time! 

Today all of us are going to a local hamburger place to have their hamburgers on donuts 😏(the local popular donut place (RR donuts kittyfan) is providing the donuts and we are anxious to try them.  We'll see 

Tootie, hope you had a great time at your DD's B'Day.  How is LS growing along?  I'll bett she gets cuter every day!  LG probably had the most fun! They are so cute at his age. I thought I saw CE when I was out!  He had a huge telescope on top of his "luxurious" motor home 😄 -  almost caused an accident with all the rubber necks!  Hope he sailed right by my turnoff!!!  Head West Eddie!!!

Shout out to our Queen ~ Polish your crown and hurry back! Safely of course.😊

Good Afternoon Friends!  🇺🇸🍂🍁🎃

Back again!!!  Very tired!!  A weekend with 3 Amigos is non-stop action....ha!  Lots of fun....warm weekend too.  We got a late start to apple orchard yesterday....mistake...we always try to go early because it gets crowded....oh well...we didn't and it was crowded!  We did our usual things there (cider, donuts, pumpkins...DIL and I shop at Country Store) and we picked a bushel of apples riding wagon to orchard ...Golden Delicious and a new type...Rosalee...cross between a Fuji and Honeycrisp....have not tried one yet.

We were all ready to go bowling late yesterday afternoon but their dog was stung by a bee.  His face started to swell up a bit (happened years ago to one of our dogs too).  Anyway DIL was concerned and wanted to stay back with dog.  So, we decided....tradition says we all go together so we all stayed back....and, of course, the dog is fine! 

cookie, SO HAPPY for you that you had such a great surprise!!!!  How wonderful of your DS to do that for you.

Glad it was a great celebration too...family, friends and good food! You deserve it!  You are not OLD!  Very mature maybe but not OLD!  😉

Next up.....kittyfan's birthday...🥳....a popular date....Tootie's DD, cookie's mother and my grandmother.

Sounds like you had fun celebrating DD's, Tootie, and LG sounds so cute....LS too.....blessings!  

I was VERY SUPRISED to read that the Q has reversed their decision on shutting down boards!!!  Smart move and thank you, QVC.  I wasn't certain about going to ProBoards so glad we have our "back-up plan" set but can continue chatting here too.

Well, about all for today.....as soon as I get recharged a bit, we will get plans in motion for our Birthday Bash Saturday!!  And, a CE sighting??  ANOTHER SURPRISE coming up??? 🤣

Hello and Welcome Home Walker!! it sounds like you had a busy weekend ... how fun to ride  the wagon to the Orchard and those Rosalee apples sound really good ... you'll have to let us know how they are ... sorry you didn't get to go Bowling ... but you gotta keep up with tradition ... "all for one and one for all" ... glad that the dog is ok.

WIshing you a beautiful day kittyfan.  Celebrate you all day!

Wow what a time everyone had this weekend!  After we enjoyed the donut hamburgers which were actually quite good.  DD and I split one (good thing) as they were big.  G'kids, DS, BBf and I went to our town square and just enjoyed the scenery and a wonderful breeze. Lots of folks out walking around.  BFF and I sat on a bench and reminisced old times.  G'kids brouught us cool drinks.  GD's dad showed up and we all enjoyed seeing him.  Love being with the G'kids - they are so sweett to me❣❣  

Came home and SIL grilled lamb riblets.  DD made a green bean dish similar to the famous casserole but used small stuffing and banana chiles.  It was wonderful - the pig that I am ate two servings 🐷.We all went to bed early 😊

walker, nice to have our Queen back.  Your trip sounds like you had a great time.  New apples do sound good.  Fun at the country store too.  How is the dog doing?  Poor thing, that must have really hurt.  Love the all for one and one for all family. tradition.

Sounds like you had a nice gathering as well Tootie. Cute to imagine the dancing to Winnie the Pooh also 😊  

Glad to see the boards are staying and good to have another back up if needed.  I didn't sign up but would if need be.  Amazing how quicly the Proboard was set up!  Thankful for those that jumped in and got it done.

kittyfan, I have had a RR donut in ages either.  Although the burger was really good (it is anyway) and I only tasted a very slight flavor of the donuts.  BFF, DS and her G'son drove by the Cafe so G'son could get aquainted with the location.  He is looking forward to going there soon.

cookie, it sounds like you had a busy but super fun weekend ... relaxing in the Town Square and people watching while reminiscing with your friend is priceless ... I'm so glad for you that she was your Birthday Surprise ... you'll remember this day for a long time!

I forgot to tell you about our flu shots ... we usually go to the pharmacy around the corner but because of insurance "your plan doesn't allow you to use that one" 😡 so we ended up going to one that was ok with our plan 🙄 ... this pharmacist jabbed the needle in ... OUCH!! just like you see on TV with the nurses/doctors using the needle like a dart!! my arm is really sore today.

Shoutout to walker ... you'll need today to catch up from your weekend.

We'll have another nice sunny 77 degree day ... have a good day ... pouring and passing.
