kittyfan, you're so lucky you get to watch deer ... we had one in our neighborhood (years ago) obviously lost and I remember how amazing it was to see it jump the bushes and fences as he went on his way ... how did the Ladies Group meeting go??

Speaking of deer, hope we don't see any today!  Like you, Tootie, we only see an occasional lost one in neighborhood.

Oh HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our beloved Cookie. A visit from your DS--how fun!!! Great weather for a visit. Walker going to the cabin for a quick getaway. Tootie--enjoying the grands!!

Well I went to ladies group last night. Time for new officers. Needed someone to take secretary. Nope and nope. Been there did that. Was sitting on my hands! Finally someone stepped up. We have such a small group. And the subject of food came up. Agreed to make it snacks rather than a meal. Finally a year later someone heard my whining!!!

Just an FYI ... when I was over at ProBoards, it wouldn't let me even read any of the blogs there like I could earlier. I wonder if they are making you sign up first. At any rate, I think we are good to continue on here for a while.

kittyfan, glad to hear that all went well with your meeting ... and finally deciding that the food will just be snacks is a big plus too!!

Hello ladies~

I got a BIG surprise this morning.  My DS showed up and instead of his SO, he brought my very best friend of 70 years with him!!!  So nice to see her, it has been way too long.  She is in So.CA and doesn't have the means to fly here, so DS brought her, We many not get another chance so this is very meaningful to us both.  

kittyfan, funny your sitting on your hands 😄 No secretary you!!!  I agree with walker, snacks are a good thing - as you must have suggested a gazillion times 🙄

Walker, hope you got off safely and enjoying your mini vacation. Rest up with more UB's!

Many thanks to you SCC ladies for my Birthday wishes!  So far, it has been great!  We will enjoy SIL's burgers a little later. BFF, DS and I sat around and caught up enjoying each others company.

Good morning friends ... no cookie? I'm hoping that she spent hours and hours catching up with her friend and had a little bit too much celebrating, so she slept in this morning ... or she's still partying ... 🥳😁

We'll be going over to DS's today to celebrate DD's birthday ... she shares a birthday with kittyfan!! ... due to other scheduling, this day fit for a party!!

No other news from me ... Shoutout to all my friends ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Good morning ~

It is a great morning!  I slept unti 5am!!!  Feels terrific!  Passing some of my good fortune to you kittyfan and hope it latches onto you quicky.

Enjoyed the Birthday dinner - grilled burgers were terrific as usual.  Love my SIL💖 Boston cream cake for dessert and candles on top!!!  No big party, just family and a friend of G'sons.  My neighbor across the road came over with a big bag and in it was a sweet small cookie jar, a coffee cup to match and a tin of her homemade diabetic chocolate chip cookies that taste like the real thing!  She is a wonderful neighbor and we are lucky to have her. All in all a very nice day.  I am so glad I got to see my BFF as this may be the last time - we both are OLD!🙂

Hope you are enjoying your Royal self walker.  Nice to get away.  Tootie have a good time at your DS's and Happy Birthday to your DD.  She also shares a B'day with my mother (died a long time ago😥) 

DS and BFF are driving down to San Antonio to see her G'son who lives there, graduated from college and now has a great job there. I am stayin at home to get some papers done.  Sometimes it takes me all day to get nothing done!
