Good morning friends ... kittyfan, what is with people?? if you go out of your way to pick up material and then someone complains about it ... you are right, go pick it out yourself!! we live in a terrible society ... it's all about "them" ... why volunteer to do something if you're just going to complain or expect others to do everything?? (rant over) ... so glad that a date is set for the Cafe ... save up your appetite! 😉

cookie, I'll try again with the weather 😄 but there may be some rain with it ... our high today is 80 with rain ... I hope you are enjoying your visitors ... no baby seat on the bike.

walker, I hope the weather cooperates for Monday ... we're having rain today but it is supposed to clear up for tomorrow.

By the way, I don't use any creamer in my coffee but the Pumpkin Spice Creamer sounds good.

cookie, you nailed it about kittyfan's "magnetic personality".  And, kittyfan, I agree with point made on volunteers.  Some people must be born with negative wiring!!  Complain, complain....stay home and live in your own world.  But, we enjoy the stories...haha.

Happy to hear Cafe is getting closer to opening.  I think they should have a table reserved for you, kittyfan, their favorite customer!!

Well, time for breakfast and then off to Church on the Couch.  We were about to return when mask mandate came back here.  It is not showing up in church; it is how you live and practice your faith everyday, eh?

Hi there.......it has been a beautiful day here.....nice breeze blowing more dust through house....haha!  No complaints....love the breeze.  DS from FL called to say the family will be flying up for Thanksgiving.  He asked if I was concerned with plane travel, etc.  I decided at this point....no....would rather have them come than worry about it.  We will all have been vaccinated.  Some of us may have had boosters (??) by then.  They have to wear masks on plane anyway.  Just not going to worry about it..this may be our way of life for who knows how long?  🤞

All for now.....better get my dinner in oven .....hope you have had a good day.

Sounds like you had a really nice day walker.  Even with the dust, the breeze is worth it. Nice that your family will be coming for Thanksgiving.  Plane travel seems to be coming back except for the weirdos who won't comply with regulations and cause problems for others.  Our guests had no problems flying here.  They leave today so we'll see how they did.

I wonder if the weirdos that cause problems on the planes are related to any of kittyfan's bunch??? 😄  Who knows, there could be thousands of them just waiting to create havoc.  Don't mess with the Queen Bee!

Tootie, sounds like your weather deposit made it - we will only be 96 today - only?  Better than 100+

We will head over to DD's mid-afternoon so kids can swim.  Then we will have an early dinner.  DD has not asked me to bring anything.....yet...haha.

Good afternoon.

Sunday was a full day! Too tried to post and also late.

Went to church. Always sit in same spot for family Sunday school. Argh someone grabbed our spot.

I delivered the fabric. She said it was great. She also said that this would be the end of that mission project. I agreed. She has headed this up for a long time. Time to let go.

Then off to TS. Went in front door. Heard. Back door another volunteer thrn Jan and finally Susan. A lady came to the door to say her DIL had lost her phone at store. Not turned in. We all worked our areas. I happened to spot the phone in a aisle. Susan rushed over to retrieve and call her. Glad I spotted it. I finished my duties and home for a UB. Then looked at sending a tribute to lady who lost her daughter. Didn't complete but it was late snd I was tired

Didn't sleep well. Decided to skip TS as I had completed my areas and was able to secure plates for Cafe. Well stacked in a corner. Need to deliver.

Thanksgiving plans. Great. Splash day!!

I found out that the customer who passed has been vaccinated. So sad. Masking up for me. Only a handful at church masked. I try to sit in overflow. Most masked there. Not so much elsewhere.

Company left late afternoon.  My GD (GS's wife) took them to the airport.  I'm glad she was able to meet them when they arrived - her daughter and GD hit it off famously.  I love having Kristin visit and her daughter was a bonus!  I also love peace and quiet.

Sounds like you had a good time walker - no calls at the last minute to bring something?  Hope you stayed dry.  SIL didn't grill, we had Every Man For Himself or clean out the refrigerator.  Fine with me - lots of left overs. 

Tootie, I never did thank you for the picture - good one.  Thank you. Hope you enjoyed a great afterrnoon at DS's with the little people too.  

kittyfan - I'll bet the lady who lost her phone was a happy camper.  You have an eagle eye for sure.  Nice that the fabric was appreciated and that will be the end of the mission project.  Sorry about the customer who was vaccinated  passed.  Wear a mask people!

We had some very heavy lightning with some thunder and rain yesterday mid day.  Thankfully it didn't last long.  It was pretty though.

We ended up having a rainfree afternoon ... DS/DH was able to grill ... LG ran around the yard while LS enjoyed being held by everyone!! it was a nice day!! ... and DD/DIL decided since we have two birthdays coming up (DS tomorrow/mine on the 15th) that we're going to have a double celebration on Saturday!! ... the SCC has birthdays the next few months now ... celebrations?? or one big one??

We'll have a sunny 80 degree day ... it's Tuesday but it feels like Moanday because of the holiday ... now we'll really be confused about the days ... 😵

Happy TUESDAY!  Yes, we will be confused this week, Tootie, more than the usual...🤣.  Sounds like it was a nice day/weekend for all.  Hope kittyfan got some rest yesterday.  Is TS open everyday?

cookie, glad you enjoyed your guests....short visits are best visits!  I need my peace, quiet and routine too. 

Had to chuckle about cleaning out the refrigerator at your place, cookie.  That is kind of what we did at DD's yesterday too.  I didn't bring anything.  DD said she had so much extra stuff from summer guests she did not need a thing.  She pulled together a nice meal.  The guys got a kick out of the extra refrigerator loaded with beer....extra wine too.  She said guests come with that and leave it for them.  We did our best to help ...haha.

Oh, the birthday merry-go-round starts up!  Tootie, you are so good with the dates!  I can celebrate any way....but, we get more mimosas and cake if we celebrate each one..LOL!   

Time to get the day started with breakfast (no mimosas..ha).....have a good day and I will see you later.
