Boy I seem to be a magnet for bad news of late. I know I have told you about Helpless Hannah. Well she moved here about five years ago to live with her daughter. She has some physical issues. She was to have an outpatient procedure which was aborted due to pain snd excessive bleeding. Many ups and downs. Had an inpatient procedure yesterday. Aborted due to excessive bleeding snd low heart rate. In ICU. Will try again on Tuesday. Okay I am ready for some positive news. She would share details with anyone close by. I am the opposite.

I heard a report of a school district losing Two teachers to Covid. Then another where all the kindergarten teachers tested positive. I don't know what the answer is. Other than I will mask up.

The university has a football game on Sat. 100,000 plus. I wouldn't even consider this under normal circumstances.

Oh a bike ride and cooler temps sounds lovely. It is Septembet--when did that happen. Splash day to end summer for Walker. What fun. Do they close the pool?

I didn't sleep well last night. Weird dreams. I think I am hearing too much news even trying to.avoid it

Hi my friends.....oh, kittyfan, sorry to hear about your sad news there.  Too bad about Helpless Hannah.  Hope she improves.  One thing after another....so much bad news all around us!  Take time to rest ...aka UBs! You can only do so much.   Maybe news tomorrow will be better.  🤞 

Covid news has me concerned too....not sure what to believe about vaccines anymore!!!  Guess I will just keep taking Grandma's Medicine.  👍

DD does close her pool in late September or early October.  She has a pool business do it.  They blow pipes out, add chemicals, etc.  Then DD/SIL have a pool cover that covers until next summer.  She will probably be glad to have it closed.  Fun for summer but non-stop company.

Tootie, hope you enjoyed another nice bike ride.  Fall is in the air here....how about there?

Good morning ~

Yes, our guests arrived around midnight.  Thankful for G'son who picked them up at the airport and took the round about way home so they could see some of the funky and good stuff in Austin.  I was asleep when they arrived and will greet them when they wake up.

kittyfan, sorry about Helpless Hannah.  You sure are on the receiving end of other people's problems.  Hope she recovers soon.  Hope you get some good news today!

I am confused and concerned about COVID as well. The mask thing with kids in school is very concerning.  I heard that a teacher punished a child for wearing a mask and another for not!? 

Tootie, hope you get in another bike ride.  Your weather sounds great.  We enjoyed your deposit for about 2 hours and 10 minutes 😄 and today we will be 100+.  

walker, I found this and thought you might need it on Monday when you are at your DD's. 😊

kittyfan, that's sad about Helpless Hannah ... I hope things turn around for her too ...

walker, oh yes! Fall is in the air ... the leaves are just now starting to change although some have already started to fall, I think because it has been such a hot summer ... the temps have been in the mid 70's although today it is supposed to hit 80 with low humidity.

I think we are all confused about this virus/mask situation ... I'm like you kittyfan and just wear my mask ... and here, they are requiring 2 year olds to wear masks ... umm? really?? they pull their hats off and they expect them to keep a mask on?? I can't imagine LG keeping his on!!

Have a good day friends ... pouring and passing ... cookie, what a great idea for our Queen ... still able to don her crown but stay dry ... 😊

Cloudy morning with showers around today.....I can use that Royal umbrella, cookie!!  Pretty funny!  Good idea for use with five kids splashing in pool Monday too.  Rest of weekend will have plenty of sunshine...👍👏.

That's my news for now...weather...ha!  The day can only get more interesting....right?  😂 Stay tuned.....and have yourself a nice Saturday.

Good evening. I has a day. Went to TS as planned. Walked in yo see only one other volunteer masked. Then learned one of our regular customers had passed with Covid. Her husband got better she did not. Then I heard a volunteer complaining about the cost of the hand sanitizer we use. I can't understand these folks.

Then on my way home stopped in traffic. When I finally got past there was a car in mdisn that had burned. When I finally got hkme--took an hour to get past that saw a car had lost control and rolled. Starlight responded.

Speed limit way to high on that road.



I A. TRYING HARD to step out of some things at church. Look for fabric. N too o floral. Bought some I hope works. Come and look for yourself

The only good news is a projected open dare. Kristen texted me some pics. Looks really nice.

I didn't stop st food truck. First ti.e was great. Second time okay. Last time so disappointed. Sorry tried drove on by. Love supporting local.

kittyfan, I know you have a magnetic personality, but you must have a a magnet on you - drawing weird people and complex situations! 🤡 🤪  You sure have some good stories though!   What is with people and masks?  Count me in with for just wear one and go forth.  Glad to hear that the Cafe has a projected open date.  That is good news!

Tootie, I think that the cooler temps you sent down were hijacked!  We will be 100+ again along with HHH 🥵  Glad you were able to get a bike ride.  Do you have one of tthose little seats to hook onto the back of the seat for LG?

walker, good to try out your Royal umbrella before testing it with kids on Monday.  They keep predicting some scattered rain here, but it must have gotten confused and headed your way.
