🤣🤣.....yes, doggie-daycare almost like a day with LG, Tootie!  Dear Dog was really good once he settled down.. ....DH walked him...I walked him...tried to tire him out so he would take a DUB!! (Doggie Union Break!). He did!!  We don't have a fenced backyard which would make it a lot easier!  Biggest problem was I thought DIL would pick him up by 4:00pm....she did not come until after 5:30!  I ran out of dog food....think we exercised him too much and he was starting to chew on us...(just kidding).  DIL was so sorry that she had a staff meeting that ran over.  One more day tomorrow.....might be late checking in here.

No other news from me.....see you tomorrow....life has gone to the dogs....🤣🤣🤣.

Tootie, I hope LG isn't as rambunctious as walker's DIL's dog!  Kids are a bit easier than dogs, but the comparison is close!  

We are climbing the heat ladder to @#$&!!! Today will be 89+ It's only Spring!!!!  Have an errand and plan to go this morning before it gets too warm.  Did anyone read or hear about the shortage of Ketchup??  What's next!!!  How can you eat French Fries without it 😕

cookie, I agree, a toddler is easier to corral than a puppy would be ... I did read about the ketchup shortage but the article said it is with the restaurant/takeout packets ... now they have to squirt the ketchup into little plastic cups ... try to stay cool today.

I got up earlier today so I could read paper and have coffee before DDC starts!  Ding-Dong soon...it is raining....yuk...dogs and rain...oh well.....maybe..maybe...because there is no sun he will be less energized...haha!

UPDATE....OH BOY....off to good start...he arrived and within one minute jumped on both of us.....muddy paw prints...arrrggh...then grabbed newspaper from DH and pulled off a corner......pass the mimosas!!! 🤣

DDC CLOSED!!!! 🐕‍🦺 Today did not go as well because of the rain but we were able to get him out for a few short walks in between the raindrops.   Worst part was when he caught sight of a squirrel outside my living room windows.  I thought he was going to jump through the window.  Then the darn squirrel made it worse by just sitting on a branch of the pine tree by one window!!!  I tapped on window trying to scare him off.  Squirrel just looked at me like....yeah....I'm not moving.  So, I am holding the dog back while trying to call DH who is in computer room/office....and he doesn't hear me!!!! Arrrrggghh!  😡FINALLY....I got his attention and he went out to chase the squirrel away.  

DIL's sister came over to pick grand-dog up early afternoon.....alleluia....dog jumped in car and she said...what was I thinking when I offered to get him?  🤣  BYE-BYE!!!!!   DH and I came in house and immediately put things back in order.  DH vacuumed while I put back everything I had out that might end up in his mouth!!!  Enough!  Next time I will go to their house...ha!

Needless to say, I will be ready for my 5:00 medication tonight!  😁🍷 Cheers to me!

HAHA....now I can laugh too...looking back at scenario!  I Love Lucy is right!  Sweet dog most of time...let's see...hmmm.....70% good...30%...terror!!  BUT, he gets high marks for taking a DUB!!!  Once he gets the message to shut down, he curls up quietly and stays that way 1-2 hours!  👍 I had to really coax him up to go for quick walk before leaving.   

Well, all is well that ends well....🍷🍷....good-night all!

Tomorrow will be boring....haha!
