Hi All ~~ It's been raining the entire day.  It's chilly and very damp here and the wind has really been heavy.  The rain and wind hitting against the windows sound like they will break.  I live at the top of a large hill and the winds are generally heavy but this is really bad.

@cookie5  .... I had no idea someone diagnosed with A-Fib rarely can have symptoms.  That was interesting. 

@Tootie15  .... Yes, thank you it's going better for DH.  He has an appointment in August ... yes, August with a new heart specialist in cardiac electrophysiology!!  That is the earliest I could get!  Unbelievable!

Our 17-year old male kitty Lucky has an open sore on top of his right paw and the biopsy came back the Big C!  The Vet is trying a couple of different procedures and have to wait and see the outcomes.  The worse scenario is amputating his right paw.  We don't want to do that and putting him under anesthesia is very risky.  He is the last of the seven furbabies we had over the years.  He was dropped off at our house 17 years ago and is the best pet ever.  I hate to even think about it!

I made corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day, too.  I hadn't made it for a few years and it was really delicious.  Looking forward to having Reubens with the leftover corned beef.

Good morning ~  Glad to see you MissMadi.  You sure have had some weather! Good news for your DH and a new doctor as well.  I do have to take Xarelto for my Afib as a precautionary measure.  Sorry about Lucky.  I had to send my Leo home 3 years ago - his left leg was 3X  it's size and after  a few tests the Vet said the C word.  He was Ozzie's brother and a rescue as well.  Prayers and good thoughts for Lucky.

Good report at the eye doctor walker!  I have to be checked regularly due to DIabetes - so far so good.  We had some windy weather also - not as much as you probably did, but windy enough to change hairstyles 😀  

The corned beef turned out well.  We did not make anything but the meat, so sandiwches are in order - if there's anymore left over.  Better go check and feed Shadow before she starts her yowling meowing 🥰  Cooler today - 68.

cookie, glad your corned beef turned out ... I got an extra one when they were on sale and froze it so we can have it again ... even without the veggies it is delicious!!

cookie, nesselrode pudding? never heard of it ... checked with my friend Google ... a pudding made with chestnut puree ... have you ever had it? not sure I would like it.

MissMadi, good to see you.  Sorry to hear about Lucky.  Pets are so wonderful ....bring joy and comfort...but, so painful when you have to let go.  Enjoy each day, eh?  Glad your DH is feeling better.  I don't understand why it is so difficult to get appointments with specialists in reasonable amount of time.  That many people needing to see those doctors?  A friend of mine had an AFib attack this week and ended up in ER.  She can't get in to see her Cardiologist until the end of April! (Guess that is better than August.)

I think I will pass on the nesselrode pudding, cookie.  haha Thanks for looking it up, Tootie.  Enjoy the corned beef leftovers, cookie.  I should get one for freezer too, Tootie.  I love corned beef so why make it a once-a-year-meal?  My mother used to fix it in summer with potato salad.

Walker, I'm taking your word that Spring comes tomorrow ... haha!! ... DH took the day off and we swapped out our snowblower for the grill ... NO MORE SNOW!!!! we're supposed to have a very mild and sunny weekend ... we may christen the grill for another season!! 🍾🍔🌭🥩

Oh, I'm jealous, Tootie, the grill is out there!!  Not yet here...soon, I hope!  Weather here was sunny but chilly today.  I did take my walk but still bundled up.  I saw my first "Spring" robin!  Can't count the confused winter ones..😂.

We went over to see LG last night ... boy is he getting big! what a fun time we had just playing with him ... 🙂

Gee, what a beautiful sunny afternoon.  Not a cloud in the gorgeous blue sky.  Lovely, absolutely lovely.  Makes me want to get outside and start doing my flowerbeds BUT a little chilly for that!
