Yesterday atbook  club one of the la c issues recounted bring ill when all th I d started. Obviously  covid. We had met just before all the restrictions

I missed a few times just due to various issues. 

I have really cut back at the tS. However they are open less days also. Lots of volunteers haven't come back. 

Our mask mandate is lifted. But we all masked up yesterday. Even saw some masked people on the street. 

When I was getting my shot only about ten percent were seniors. The rest younger including children. Not sure  

Predicting rain this weekend. Will see. Tgey predicted the polar express.

Hello ... I got an appointment!! but not until May 29. It's at a college campus about 15 minutes away ... not bad, but I'm going to keep checking at the pharmacy and if one becomes available sooner, I'll take it and cancel the other one.

kittyfan, hopefully the Book Club can get back on track again ... sometimes it can't be helped if someone has to miss a week ... I think I will wear masks for a while even after we don't have to (ours are still mandatory)

We had a warm 63ish cloudy day ... temps dropping tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good day .. see you tomorrow.

Good morning ~  Tootie, lucky you found an appointment closer than 30 miles even if it is a long wait.  I like your idea of checking the pharmacy regularly for earlier appointments.  Still a mess around here. I am hearing stories of very poor organization and execution more and more. 

kittyfan, good luck with the book club and TS - hope things get back to normal.  I am continuing to wear a mask as well.  When I went to the ENT yesterday,  I saw most people in the medical building were masked and everyone in the office was.  

walker, did the Angel get to fly yet?  We will be 80+ with some winds again.  Not sunny, but warm.

Thanks for fixing the Quiche, Tootie! 😅 I have never tried a Papaya Mimosa, cookie, but Queen never turns down a mimosa! 😂  Off to a good start this morning...Happy Friday!

Tootie, I bet something will open up for you before May 29.  But, at least you have that date.  Like me, I waited and waited...and had three opportunities within a week.  Crazy!

kittyfan, I wonder if you will gradually see more volunteers return to the TS.  You used to put in a lot of time there.  It must feel good to cut back a bit.  

cookie, my angel wings still aren't flying...lead feet I guess..haha.  Yesterday was very windy again too.  I went for a walk and could have used wings to get me home...colder too...oh well, sun shining today...no wind...will let you know if I ever "lift off"....fat chance! 🤣

Well....time to lift off my lazy girl chair and get some breakfast.....do some laundry....Hi Ho Hi Ho...it's off my chair I go......😂.....have a good day!  See you later.

I know, I know you are shocked I am here so early in the morning.  Don't get used to it. 😁

Had DH to the ER Tuesday.  What a stressful day.  He hadn't felt himself all day and his heart was racing so fast we finally got in the car and drove to the ER.  His pulse was 100+ and very low B/P 85/63 etc.  His Meniere's was extremely bad that day also terrible pain in his head.  All around stressful day.  They immediately hooked him up to monitors and injected Cardizam into his IV and it took over 1.5 hours to stabilize his B/P and racing heart.  They said he had A-Fib (he was diagnosed several years ago) but DH doesn't agree.  That A-Fib was nothing he had ever experienced before. 

I didn't get a chance to read all the postings to catch up but I will.

Good Morning, MissMadi!  Yes, surprised to see an early message from you.  Sorry to hear about your DH and his problem yesterday.  I have two friends  who have gone through AFib issues....scary.  And, this seemed different.

Hope this is a good day.  You probably both need some rest.

🚓🚓🚓....LOL ...ABC Police are still on patrol! You are right though, Tootie, after day MissMadi had she would be let off easy.  😅

Just took a walk again.....still no flying, cookie!  Third day in a row there was wind...arrrggghh.  I am tired of walking into the wind.  If I was smart, I would remember to change my route so the wind is at my back!  

Going to bake some cookies now....then it won't be long and I can take my 5:00 medicine (only way I can watch the news with DH...😏).

Fish Fry Night, Tootie?  I could go for a good Fish Fry but fixing my own tonight.
