Hi my friends.....I made it to salon and back...whew!  Crazy lady!  First for everything....washing the washer! HA!

OK....Tootie....vent away...sure understand how these things happen.....you are right in your thinking! GRANDMAS UNITE!  LG will not know if he opens a present tomorrow or 19th (gee, you had suggested that...his birthday]...or whenever....no one year old child will remember any of it!  My DH grew up with birthday on 23rd and DS on 28th....not best but we always made that the day to celebrate!!   I think you are doing right thing....go before party...and, I would want to stay while he opens them too.  Mama Mia!!  This is party for DIL!  

kittyfan, glad you got test....now to wait results...probably good.  cookie, I agree on  making med changes...gets too complicated.  Glad you have a clean microwave!  Ha!

Raining here.....could be snow piling up so guess that is ok.

Good morning ~  Tootie you are in one kerfluffle!!  I don't understand your DIL's reasoning either.  Spread the love!  Grandmas and Grandpas are one of the best treasures a child can have!  GRANDMAS UNITE!  (thank you walker)

I'll bet you feel 10 pounds lighter walker.  It always feels so good after a haircut!!!  I could use one as well - I am in a growing spurt - hair and nails!

kittyfan glad you didn't have to wait long for your test.  Do they email it to you?  That's how DD gets them. Hope you got all the mix up with your billing fixed.  

Ozzie goes for his check up this morning.  Then home to UNITE for Tootie and take a UB!

Good morning friends ... thank you ladies for acknowledging that I am not crazy about this party (and walker, you have two birthdays close to Christmas so it can be done!) ... I'm still shaking my head about this and can't wait to see what happens this afternoon ... I will keep you all posted!

kittyfan, glad your test is over ... now, the hard part ... you wait!

walker, glad you were able to find your salon and get your haircut ... our Governor just announced that they our salons and gyms can open back up again but with stricter regulations ... apparently, they did "research" and found that the virus spread is not that bad at these places ... they should be opening back up this week.

cookie, I hope Ozzie gets a good report from the vets this morning ...

We're going to have a mild but rainy 50 degree day ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Rainy morning here....another dreary...wet...day!  But, I am up, well, able to drink my coffee....all is well ....I can stay in today...I think.

We will be anxious to hear how things go for you today, Tootie.  Could be "icy" reception by your DIL but it isn't about her....it is LG....keep your eyes on his cuteness and you will be fine. (Hope he isn't down for a nap when you arrive.😡)  Your presents come first....he may be overwhelmed with the party stuff.  

Well, not sure how holidays will go but we are making some tentative plans.  Next Friday evening we will have a gift exchange here....after dinner...cookies only...ha...wear masks....distance, etc....open gifts...go home....sigh...DD is really concerned about bringing any germs to us. (A friend of mine said same thing about her DDs...won't come for Christmas..☹️)  Then DS and family head to lake house for Christmas.  We will probably go out.  DS asked if we would like to go to church there.....I love the beautiful country church there...so, nervous as it makes me....think we might go...reservations required....might be a good thing.  Head says no, heart says yes. 🥴  Right now it is day to day thing.....stay well...good weather...not driving in snow to go.....we'll see.

So, we need a report from Tootie later.....and cookie on Ozzie and kittyfan...test results.  Let this be......

Oh my family drama.  Your DIL is something else. He won't remember this BD but the Grands will. It sounds like she is all about the gifts

Oh decisions.  It is tough to know the best decision. Last night I got the message that our in person services cancelled for next ten days. There was a positive in the church. I learned from our church organist who was affected.  I know our pastor doesn't want to cancel Christmas in person services.  I am not certain I will attend. 

My results will come by email. 

My scripts are ready.  Need to think about doing drive thru. If you don't pick up they will put back.

Hello ... well our visit went pretty good ... DS/DIL were very uncomfortable when we got there but had loosened up a little by the time we left (they acted like nothing happened) conversation was there but we spent most of the visit playing with LG ... he's so darn cute ... he was more interested in the paper and the boxes than he was with the gifts ... next hurdle is Christmas. Oh walker, I thought about him being down for a nap so I texted DS early and asked him to let us know when he would be up ... haha!!

walker, I know what you mean about going to Christmas Mass ... we would like to but aren't going to ... I guess the reservations will limit people and have you spaced out ... it sounds like you have a good plan to celebrate Christmas ... I think we all just have to play it day by day ...

kittyfan, so your services are cancelled but will open just before Christmas ... ugh! what does one do?? we go to the drive through to pick up our scripts ... very easy.

cookie, I hope all went well with Ozzie today ...

Tootie....glad to read your message...have been thinking of you.  I laughed about LG being more interested in paper and boxes other than gifts.  So true!!!  Kids do that....you spend money on toys and could just give boxes....haha!  Happy it went ok for you.  He sounds like a cutie!  Wow...almost 1!  That went fast.

No other news from me.....dreary day..put a chuck roast in crock pot so am looking forward to that for dinner.

Good morning ~  So glad that you were able to spend time with LG Tootie.  Good idea to text about his nap!  A typical little baby - boxes and paper are the best!  One of my borrowed G'kids opened a box of clothing and whee - over the head and grabbed the box.  Kids are so cut at this age. 

How sad that churches are so limited this Christmas.  I understand why, but even I (the non attender) will miss some of the celebrations - they are beautiful.  Not quite the same on TV but better than nothing!

Ozzie did well at the Vet - he went from 9.00 - 9.70 lbs!  Every little bit counts.  He encouraged me to get the prescription food up to more than 50% - one step at a time I say. He also gave me meds for any pain that may be causing him to meow/howl.  Got his nails done too!  No color though - haha

I am back on what day it is - again!  Feels like Monday to me. Gee, I could have thought of a better day than Moanday....

kittyfan, did you receive your test results yet?  Good thoughts.

Good morning friends ... I'm late today ... I'll try to be quick so I don't bump with walker ....

We decided to go shopping super early ... I love it!! hardly any people in the store and we were in and out!!

I'm all unpacked and now we are getting ready for Mass.

cookie, good news on Ozzie ... you're doing a good job! ... laughing at no color for Ozzie's nails ...

We got to do Zoom last night for LG's party ... so it was a win-win for us .. we still got to see him open other gifts and "smash" his cake ... (I really don't like when they do that ... geez, I feel like a grouchy grammie) ... anyways, he was cute last night.

Well, off to Mass ... gotta get my seat! haha!! Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

I know what you mean about not liking when they do that, but the memories in 20 years will be priceless.  The OCD part of me is not a fan either - clean up is a bear!
