walker, glad that your GS was negative ... that's what is so scary about this virus .. you never know who may have it and then it can affect the whole family ... I just wish we could all hibernate until it is gone ... wishful thinking I know ... I don't even think Wanda Wand would work!!

I have my spare room full of gifts that I see everytime I go upstairs ... I should be wrapping but I just don't feel like it!

Good morning ~  Good to hear that your GS tested negative walker. This should be done everywhere, especially where there are large groups of people involved (businesses).  Tootie, I agree - hibernation is a great idea!  

kittyfan wishing you well on your testing.  We will be getting some rain but still will be 74 or so.  Hope you do not have to travel far - no fun driving around with slippery streets.

No plans other than clean up the microwave - I forgot to cover the special cat food mixture!  I had better get to it before it becomes a decoration  Have a great day!

Happy Friday!  Winter winds are starting to blow here.

Rain later in afternoon.  I have a haircut appointment at 3:30 ...first one for my gal.  She had to adjust her hours due to her children.  She works Thursday/Fri late afternoon and all day Sat.  I don't like going on Saturday but may change to get an earlier appointment.  Or "divorce" my gal...ha!  I am such a creature of habit now.....I like to be out in morning and home in afternoon...especially in winter.

There was some all important information you needed, eh?  😂 HO HO HO.....so it goes.  

I have a spare room full of gifts too, Tootie.  I need to take inventory this weekend.  

cookie, get that microwave clean.....kittyfan, good luck with the test.....need our 🐝 well....need all of us well!

OH...just finished book...Where Crawdads Sing...anyone read it?  I thought it was good...kept my interest and moved quickly in last half.  I didn't want to put it down.

Good morning. Dreary day here

Loved that book. Read it at three bookclub. Not in three any longer. Miss reviews. You either really enjoyed it ot not. I enjoyed. 

Had a telephone drs apt yesterday. Need meds refilled. Need to do labs--ok. Well today get an email need well check. Hello they sent seeing patients in office. I had decided to change. Not the best time to do this. My insiranve changed end of the year

When I called the dr I had seen no longer there. 

Yesterday I saw an email that restaurant which was family owned had been doing takeout weekends. Well they said they were losing money. Not surprised. I know how hard it is for that industry. They were close to the Cafe but the Cafe gets my business. I has been there a few times

Christmas Central. I have a few things gathered. I used Pittman and Davis to send grapefruits. They have the best. I sent some to one of my TS friends. She texted me she had received them. Said she loves grapefruit. She will love these. She lives very close to our best grocery. She can walk from her house!  

My appointment is later. At some point I need to pay taxes. Actually I got an additional notice from another entity. I had paid a large chunk already.

Hi there......dreary day here too....trying to get some laundry and other things done while I wait for 3:30...🙁.

Think I am losing it.....started washer earlier...got distracted and forgot to add clothes.😱  Washer is clean.  Hope I find my way to hair salon!

kittyfan, hope you get doc appointment taken care of...don't make changes in 2020!  Ha!  Need to get new year started!  I remember you mentioned how good Pittman and Davis are....have been picking up TX grapefruit at store.

Did you find your way to the salon?? ... I like to go early too ... get in, get out and on with the rest of the day ... oh well, I guess these days we have to do what is convenient for others ...

kittyfan, how did the test go?? did you have to wait long?

I got all my gifts wrapped and they are under the tree ... and I got my cards mailed out too ... I only did a handful this year ...

Home from test. Drove up. Designated parking area. Call a number. Nurse came out.   There were other cars. I was first. Thrn to pay taxes. Argh. Didn't have right amount. Another check with correct amount. I had a notice that my electric didn't pay. Got that straightened out. Thought I had auto pay set up guess not.

kittyfan, I don't like to make changes in my Health Insurance unless they discontinue the plan I'm already in.  It gets more involved every year.  I have had good luck with Aetna medicar PPO and am going to stay with it.  Too many other things to re-arrange, change or fix.  Hope 2021 is better!

How  was your test?

walker, I was tempted by Where Crawdds Sing, but too much $$.  If it comes to Kindle Unlimited, I'm in!

Ok friends, I need to vent ... LG's party is tomorrow and as you know we are not going. DIL texted and said if we wanted to bring his gifts over tomorrow afternoon he could open them at night while they zoom at the party. Ummm, no! We wanted to bring them on his actual birthday and be there when he opens them. I think she has lost her marbles ... she doesn't want him to have his birthday presents (on his acutal day) so close to Christmas ... sorry, but I have never heard of this in my life. It's his birthday .. you can't change it.  So we are going over tomorrow before the party and I already told them that he will open his gifts while we are there ...

Sorry, but I am just so flabbergasted ...
