Good morning ~  Tootie, I think you have solved the B'day issue for the most part.  Good idea!  

walker, you are cold!  We will be 79 today!  No evidence of Longhorns with santa hats yesterday but there's always today.  

kittyfan, why wouldn't the ladies go get tested for COVID? This would surely give some reiief for everyone at the TS.  - it's free.  DD goes every10 days so she can feel safe and visit Pearl (100 y.o) in the senior home.  She has never had to wait long. 

I read somewhere that COVID is expected to be at least 2 more years of this "New Life". I think that may be conservative since there are so many people who will not wear masks and practice safety measures.  Word:  Selfish

Sorry for the rant but it makes me angry.  Ozzie still not eating even with the ear meds.  I made some beef broth to add to his food - we'll see.

SELFISH!! .. so, so true! and if they don't want to follow them ... stay home!! our hospitals here are starting to fill to capacity ... sorry to hear that Ozzie is still not eating ... maybe the broth will do the trick ... (fingers crossed)

walker, ugh! it's bad enough to walk when it is cold out but when it is windy too, it's brutal ... maybe you'll get your walk in today ...

Happy Wednesday!  Another day of Covid-life but happy we are all well, eh?  I agree on wearing the masks.....just do it!  I heard on news some people who had received a vaccine had allergic reactions....all ok though.....that is why I won't rush out for a shot.  

cookie, hope Ozzie perks up.  Keep watching for those Longhorns with hats...ha....it is a magical season.  😉

I am definitely going to get out for a walk today and tomorrow too.  After that, rain and snow move in with colder temperatures.  Heard we may have 3-4 inches by Sunday.  HO! HO! HO!  Here we go, Tootie!  

Better get going.....going nowhere but need to start my engine anyway....haha.  See you later.

Taking a quick break before I get dinner started ... we had a snowy day ... big huge wet flakes (pretty to look at) but when they landed on the sidewalk they made a slushy mess ...

walker, I heard about the allergic reactions too ... count me in on not rushing out to get the vaccine ... I've hibernated this long, what's a few more months (or possibly more) ... did you get out for your walk?? ... great "Q"

Hi there......

I did get my walk in, Tootie.  It was a nice day.  I will get out again tomorrow.....and then....who knows when...walk when I can, I guess.  ☹️ Not good for the body! 

I am feeling a little holiday stress affecting me....do I have what I need?...what they want?....will it arrive in time?...yikes....my blood pressure is up....also...not good!

I went to my meat/fish store today.  As I walked through Deli....what did they have...QUICHE!....Single servings too...perfect as it was before lunch!  A GOOD THING!  So, I got it, came home and enjoyed the quiche!!!  A treat for me....all I needed was a mimosa!  Ha!

See you in the morning.....

I am feeling well. I did schedule a test on Friday. We have to make apts. Will see what happens from there.

Depending on results may skip train with friends since it is so close to Christmas may opt out as others may have plans.

Good morning !  Yuck slushy snow!  At least you got your walk, walker.  I see the old color/font size clown is acting up again!  Don't blame you for not correcting!  We will be warm again today - 77.  

Tootie, I am vascilating between yes and no on the vaccine.  The people who get the reactions may get them from any vaccine.  Who knows? It is still too early to consider.  

Glad to hear you are feeling weell kittyfan, especially with the TS lady who tested positive!  Hope you don't have to wait in any long lines for your test.

Thank you all for your kind words about Ozzie.  He actually ate some yesterday - I put beef broth in the food.  His coat is back to soft and silky but still is somewhat bony.  He meows a lot!  Hard to tell what, since he meows and looks toward the water and food bowl if there is 1 drop missing!  Doc on Saturday.

Happy Thursday!  Hope it is a good one for you.  Sounds like Ozzie is perking up a little...beef broth did the trick.  kittyfan, good you will have a test for piece of mind....smart to avoid certain things too.  Did I tell you that GS in FL was exposed to Covid?  The whole family was tested and, fortunately, received negative results.  GS can go back to school Monday after quarantine.

Tootie, I guess that Grinch program was on last night but I did not see it.  Doesn't sound like it would interest me either.  Which reminds me, I think I am the only person ever who could not get into that old film It's a Wonderful Life.  

cookie and Tootie, you are both so sharp early in the morning....good job on U and V....on to W....see you all later....

I am also reluctant on the vaccine. I do flu shots and shingles and pneumonia. Still too early for me to get on board. And I know there are many ahead of me

Tootie;. I think your small birthday idea is great. Leave the other family to their own. I am a proponent of masks. I know several people anti mask. I would rather at least have an opportunity to do something
