Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸😷🎃

I meant to check back in yesterday but was really wiped out from yesterday.  Came home, slept, had toast for my dinner and slept....not well...in my lazy girl chair to keep my head elevated.  I have had four of these surgeries on my face...😩....and this one seemed the worst.  It went well overall until they had to close up....on tip of nose not easy.  Now I have this big honking bandage on my nose that is so annoying!  Can't remove until tomorrow.  They also removed a spot on my back.  Sun, sun, joy, joy, bad, bad!!!   I am not one to wear hats but better learn to...think I need a sombrero.  Look for me in the shade!  If I am told I have another spot on face, I will say....don't care.

Needless to say, it will be an all day....lazy girl chair...UB day for me!

Front came in yesterday. Walked out the door at TS big drop. Dogs went out this morning. Back under covers!

Will go to TS on Sunday. Have key. Will meet my seasonal partner. She will work her magic. Starting to look a lot like Christmas! I will do othet tasks.

tS business very slow. May cut back after first of year. I think that will be good. Volunteers are just not coming.

kittyfan, sounds like a plan for the TS - cutting back can be a good thing.  Nice to have your seasonal partner working with you. Our dogs stayed inside most of the day as well.  Cold outside - - - and mud!!  

Tootie, I do remember Lemon Heads - never had one, but do remember. Your town's trick or treating plan sounds like a good idea especially with all the COVID issues.

kittyfan, is the slow down at the Thrift Store due to this virus?? ... on your cold mornings, I don't blame the pups for crawling back under the covers ... it sounds like you may have a good day at the TS on Sunday.

cookie, that's a great hat for our Queen ... that would provide a LOT of coverage ...

We still don't have our s-s-snowblower in the garage ... I think we are going to do that this weekend ... and believe it or not we still have our hanging pots and some geraniums (that are still blooming) but I think they may meet their demise Friday (garbage day!)... we'll see.

We'll have a partly sunny day ... high of 52!! ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Send the hat....🤣🤣....very funny, cookie!  That is what I need!!  No more sun on me!  Shade, please! After this, I am going to give all kids a case of sunscreen for Christmas!!!  Protect your skin!!!

I was up and down last night.  This darn thing was starting to itch....which is a good sign but drove me nuts.  Ripping bandage off today....hope I am not scared by what I see...stay tuned!!  Whatever....one thing for sure...I have a face for Halloween! 😂

TX sure gets some crazy swings of weather!  kittyfan, I laughed at your pups running back under covers ...smart dogs.  I think it is a good idea also to cut back on TS hours.  People will shop whenever it is open.

Tootie, better kiss those flowers good-bye....hard to do when blooming but they can't last much longer.  The other day I noticed a neighbor with a lot of marigolds still blooming.  I think DH will be getting our snowblower ready soon.😱  Did I tell you we had light snow the other day?  Between winter and Covid, we will be in hibernation!  Fill the Fruit Cellar....haha!

Good morning ~  Sorry to you are itching and uncomfortable walker.  Sometimes I think itching is worse than any pain.  Hope you are healing well.  Laughing at your face for Halloween 😂😂  

DD's friend and her husband will be coming in this evening (they flew) to visit for a few days.  They have been friends since elementary school.  She said they have flown recently and felt very safe - humm, I'm not sure  I would, considering the lack of space in a plane.  Anyway, we all will enjoy seeing them again.  I do have some concerns and will probably stay in my own space. 

Tootie, kind of sad to trash blooming plants but you gotta do what you gotta do.  Snow blowers - never seen one.

We will be 61 today - yay, a heat wave!  Last night was cold and I had some "fur" blankets to keep me nice and cozy.  How about you kittyfan - did you have fur blankets too?  .

cookie, I'm with you on the flying during this virus (although I don't like flying at all) but I guess it doesn't bother some people ... enjoy their visit.

walker, how did the "unveiling" go?? I hope you are feeling better today ... I didn't hear about your snow ... just a tease of what's to come!!

 I'm going to clean out my refrigerator/freezer today ... it's garbage pickup tomorrow and if I find anything unidentifiable I can toss it out ...

Hey Tootie - thanks for the picture of a snow blower.  After seeing what it does, I am very glad I don't live around snow!  I know it snows occasionally here but not like that!  

Whoppers!!! YUM!!! I used to eat them by the boxful - still like them today but cannot not supposed to eat them.
