A little behind schedule today but better late than never.  DH going out to lake house to help DS so had to get him out the door!

Hero of the day....your SIL, cookie!  Glad he discovered problem and the cool air is flowing again.  Pork Wings?  Wow, and Asian sauce?  Would love to try those.

Fall is definitely moving in on us in north, right, Tootie?  We are sunny, windy and chilly here today.

Hi there......I just finished getting my Halloween decorations out.  I usually do it the first of October....close enough!  I still don't know about any trick or treating here yet but picked up three bags of M&Ms at store today.  I usually buy more.....not this year.....I bet the older kids will come out.

DH just got home and is taking a UB...guess I will too!

And, that is the news from my corner of the world..ha!

Hello ... our Governor hasn't "banned" Halloween ... he said it would be up to each town/city to make a decision ... it hasn't been announced yet whether our town will have it or not ... I agree walker, if not little ones the older kids will come out.

We had and our still having rain and high winds ... we had a lot of thunder, lightening most of the afternoon ... and we even had a couple bouts of hail ...

Our temps didn't get above 60 ... I had to break out my sweatpants and long sleeve shirts ...

HAPPY OCTOBER!  

Good morning ~  Halloween will be very different this year I think.  Not sure if our Governor has banned Halloween or not.  We don't get any trick or treaters - too far between houses.  I hope the downtown area will put on something but with social distancing, how can you get droves of excited little kids to cooperate all together?? 

M&M's?  No corn candy?  Either one,you are brave and must have a lot of will power walker.  If I bought Halloween candy now, it would be gone in no time!  Give me my Reese's!

kittyfan - any news from the TS?  Hope you are still relaxing your schedule.  I'll bet lots of people come in to get Halloween costume stuff.

Went to the grocery store yesterday and when I got home, there was good ole' Seven waiting in the driveway.  How he can get under the fence is beyond me.  Told him to go inside and he went up to the porch and sat by the door until I got there.  He may be naughty, but he is a good boy and so sweet.

I bet the TS gets lots of people looking for Halloween costumes too ... I used to visit one here for that and when the kids were in the musicals at school and needed a particular outfit ...

We'll have another rainy and 62 degree day ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Oh, since we are into October ... we have two birthdays coming up ... cookie, the 8th and kittyfan, the 11th ... we have to plan a Birthday Bash ... do we want to celebrate with one Big Birthday Bash?? I was thinking of the 10th.

Hi there.....got a late start today and told DD that I would make some cookies for her.  She is going away this weekend with six friends from college.   Girls getaway!  They left this afternoon and are renting a house in a really nice area.  They just want to get together and have fun...gab, gab, gab....relax....NO KIDS...NO HUSBANDS!

I haven't even thought about Christmas but you will have fun buying for LG, Tootie.

Oh Walkers famous cookies. What fun

TS has been a test. Not much work. The few times I found a task someone swooped in to help---trsndlation take over. Sigh. Really a tough week. Two sale days coming up. I doubt I will be out in time to visit Café. Can't press my luck with calling after close!

I did see theuy have carrot cake. Was thinking of getting that for domino's. Need to do tasting!

Need to get sleep tonight. Early day next two days.

Good morning ~  walker, sounds like your DD is in for a fun time with just the girls.  Esspecially fun with cookies from mom.  Get aways are good for you!

Tootie, will LG be dressed up in costume for Halloween?  There are some really cute ideas out there.  When my kids were that age, my ex would take them to a few of the neighbors so he could enjoy all the candy.  Kids never saw it - haha

kittyfan, I love the tasting idea!  The Cafe could make whole plate of little bites (donated by you from the TS of course) to promote their delicious offerings.  

We will enjoy 87 today - this is Fall?  I guess it is in Texas.  My youngest DS is closer to the fires in CA now.  They live in San Luis Obispo.  My family seems to live close to them all.  Sad to see this happen to my beautiful home state.  Praying for all the emerrgency crews and firefighter (some volutneering are from Austin)

cookie, oh no! I hope your DS's home and area stays safe ... LG does have a Halloween costume (some character from the movie Monsters Inc.) I'm not sure what their plans are for taking him out ... maybe just to the neighbors but especially to grammie and grandpa's!!

I just heard about Trump testing positive for COVID ... yikes!!
