Oh birthday celebrations. And a road trip for Walker. Cookie a new fall color. I agree with the service prople making a living. Can't do it without customers.

TS was uneventful. They had plenty of help so I stayed in back. Left to zip to Café. Delivered my plates. Decided to eat inside. They said it had been slow. I was the only customer at that time. My sweet server. Was glowing. I know i have seen him. I have only gone inside a few times since reopening. He shared he was transitioning to next stop. He was enrolling in community college online. He was so sweet. I enjoy seeing them leave sometimes they are gone and I wondered about them. He is such a lovely young man. Wish him much success.

Came home and did a few things. Really tired.

Holly has started a new habit. She will jump off bed. Barks until I dit up and call her. She can jump on bed. Sometimes I leave a light on. My Fred did that for a time also.

Hi all ..... oh, Tootie, have fun with LG!  Thanks for good wishes.  Don't wear yourself out celebrating too much next week!  We will have a REALLY BIG ....BIG...BIG CELEBRATION on Saturday!  (Who said....Big....BIg....some celebrity I can't think of...hmmm).

kittyfan, glad you had an easy day at TS and very enjoyable meal at Cafe.  How nice to see the young people doing well.  You and cookie have best animal stories....cute pups!

kittyfan, your concern and feelings for your server is admirable.  He sounds like a wonderful young man who will make his parents and loved ones very proud.  I don't know him, but wish him well.  Holly is one smart cookie!  My cats know when to get off the bed when I make it as well.  They dont like to be made into the bed, so they learned early.  Love our pets 💖

Lucky you Tootie LG all the way!!!!  I'll bet he is even more adorable than last time!! 👼  Enjoy him while he's little.  Oh heck, enjoy him any and all the time!!!   Looking forward to your BIG BLAST next week and I'll even bring a cake!  

We will enjoy  89 today - NO RAIN!!!!  Still sweeping up mud all day.  Seven and Gypsy decided that they would join DD across the street for a swim.  They got out (SIL is going crazy blocking off their exits) and paraded around before they crossed the street.  They didn't get into the pool and came home waiting at the front porch door.  Crazy dogs!!!!!

Good morning friends ... it's raining here today ... high of 74 ... I hope you don't have to travel in rain walker ...

cookie ... yes, we had so much fun with LG .. he's still doing his crawl ... (DS said they call it the "combat crawl") he went through the whole house like that ... I have carpeting in my family room and the rest of the house is hardwood floors ... I thought maybe it would be too slippery for him, but it actually made it a lot easier as he just glided all the way to the front door.

kittyfan ... what a great place that Cafe is!! ... it gives those that have fallen off the tracks a chance to get back on ...

It's haircut day today!  It has been just overr 4 weeks and long overdue. Not drapery pulls long, but long.  Septic is good for now, but requires a re-route and $$ome digging around - he found a huge rock last time.  Should have never passed inspection but some people have no pride in the work.  Thankfully Barry (a.k.a. Papa Bear) is a nice family man and very proud of his work.  His wife got another haircut and they bartered again!  Happy for everyone.

Got up this morning thinking of going to TS. Well took dogs out. Cindy was on alert. I thought deer. No three large pit bulls appear. Dogs went after them. I feared for Holly. Finally got Holly in. Jake and Cindy took longer. Finally we were all in but Holly continuing to bark. She sometimes does this. Decided to stay home. Will go Wednesday. Have meeting and then picking up a cake for my domino ladies.

Oh no kittyfan!! I'm so glad that your dogs didn't get hurt from the Pit Bulls ... do you know who they belong to?? It sounds like your dogs are not afraid of anything ... yikes!! ... I don't think I would have been able to go out after that either.

kittyfan, your dogs are very brave.  Many times little dogs aren't afraid of things they should be.  DD's Sasha is a little white Pom and a continual barker which to me is very annoying.  Little Miss Importance she is - haha

Warm today - 90 but no rain or mud - yay!  We lost water yesterday afternoon.  A conractor hit a water main in our area and everyone was without until about 8pm - exactly as they said they would.  Scary thought - no water!  Got a haircut and it is a great feeling.  

walker, hope you are having a great time!  Check in when you can.  The Queen is missed.
