Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸😷

Another cool morning here....woke up to 59 degrees!!!  Not complaining.....especially after hearing temperatures kittyfan had yesterday....wow!  TOO hot!  We will be back to 80's by end of week.  

I have another load of things to go for donation....may drop off today or tomorrow.  I need to go through some things in kitchen first...and my pantry has turned into a junk drawer...ugh.

Happy Tuesday.....I better catch up to the cheetah and ostrich fast behind...ha....Las Vegas Chester 🤣.  I'll be on Ricky 🦏Rhino right behind poking both with my horns.

Oh.....look what letter I have here.....

Hey walker, glad you selected Ricky Rhino.  He has been very lonesome - no one has picked him.  

He will be a very Happy Hippo today thanks to you.  His brother, Ron can stop teasing him now.  He is the chosen one today. Bring some Radishes -  he loves them.  Eats them like candy.

Got to the Lab at 7AM when they open.  There were only 4-5 people waiting.  She took my info including my phone number - uh oh - "Please wait in the car and we will call you when ready".  Okay, I waited for 35 minutes (thank you Kindle) and then walked back in to find out if they forgot.  No she was just about to call me.  I got out of there at 8:15!  Had the nicest Phlebologist - she was fun and was able to draw blood quickly with no pain or problems.  

Got home to a mess on the floor.  Seven had chewed up one of the horses Fly Masks and brought it in as a gift.  He also chewed up those foam straw like things kids play with in the pool.  What a dog!

Whew!! ... I was able to hop off the MGR and run into the store to grab a bag of radishes for Ricky Rhino ... those pokes from his horn hurt!! ... I'm glad you mentioned that cookie. Poor Olivia has no energy left ... she spent most of the morning running from Ricky ...

cookie, good thing you had your kindle with you (doesn't make the wait seem as long) ... and then you got home to Seven leaving you a mess ... I guess he's lucky he's so cute!!

walker, you have a "junk drawer pantry" too?? haha. isn't it funny how that happens??

cookie, you did find Ricky Rhino...my ride for the day....and he is behind Chester Cheetah....haha!  Sure glad you were at Lab early this morning.....would not be good to sit in your car as it got warmer outside!  Glad you had someone fun to be with once you got inside for blood draw.  Naughty Seven!!!  Oh boy....good thing he is cute or is cuteness wearing off? 😅

I ran to store this morning for a few things.  Good grief...HALLOWEEN CANDY IS OUT!  🙄

Also, just announced schools in my community will  have "Elearning" from home to start the school year!  Good thing DD is increasing her internet speed/connection.  3A's go to Parochial School and they will start "in school" in a few weeks.  We'll see how they do.....hope all goes well for everyone.

Well I have an announcement. Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie day. I know our queen reigns with honor today. I think we should all indulge!

I think some people empty their junk drawer in a box and take it to the thrift store! We see lots. I usually don't unpack boxes. With our new process everything is packed for quarantine.

U: have to go with a UB. My dogs have been UBing all day.

I can't believe..ME??......Chocolate Chip Cookie Queen did not know this was National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!!  Should have baked today!  Good V, Tootie!  

Got through pantry today....all neat now....still have too much stuff!  

DD stopped over to have glass of wine with me.  I showed her a bag I found in her closet. I knew it was in there and just left it.  In bag was a tablecloth and napkins with note from QM to her (written 8 years ago).   DD has her grandma's dining room set so QM left a bag with tablecloth and napkins in it for her.  The set was from 1935...purchased by QM's father for her mother..really lovely ivory set.  Then when QM got married it was given to her.  Now passed to DD.  Note said.....needs ironing (DD looked at me and laughed)...or "I think your mother knows a cleaner who can press it."...HA!  She also said..there is a hole in it but you can "just cover it up with a dish."  Needless to say, time has come to let it go..lovely...DD kept a napkin.....but we sure had a laugh over cute note.  I need to start writing notes to be read when I am long gone.

Good morning ~  Cute story about your closet find walker. Sounds like my G'ma.  She would always leave names, descriptions and how/where she got things.  Her favorite Damask Tablecloth for 12 is wrapped up in my storage unit with her yellowed note:  Dont' save this for a special occasion, USE IT NOW.  I have never used it because I had round tables and this was a huge rectangle.  Besides you need to iron them (or send to cleaners)

Yeah!! CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DAY! 🍪🍪🍪 We definitely will celebrate.  Thank you kittyfan for the heads up!

MGR time and I am thinking of riding Perry Pelican.  Of course his beak will not be full of fish!  We have chocolate chip cookies!!!  His all time favorite cookie.  He also loves Peanut Butter right out of the jar.  (I knew we had something in common!)  I better hide my PB!!!

He's ready to go and can't wait to get out of here - 100+ today - not the best temp for a Pelican.
