It has been pouring here all afternoon ... all the more reason to stay on the MGR with friends ...

Just saw predictions for tomorrow. Afternoon temps expected 105 to 108. Yikes. If I plan to go to Café need to go early.

kittyfan and cookie.....stay in shade there or in A/C...wow, big heat wave in your area.  We had a much better day with lower temperatures for a change. Next week 90's again!  DH and I enjoyed time on deck tonight and DH grilled a couple of delicious rib-eyes....yum!  Enough left for another night...not same as just off grill but I'll take a reheat dinner.  Tootie, sorry you had rainy afternoon...hopefully, our good weather will come your way.  Sorry, can't help cool off kittyfan and cookie.  

Night all ..... kitchen closed and MGR has stopped....is all this riding on MGR why we are just a bit dizzzzzy?  Not ditzy...haha...dizzzzy?  Just crazy!  A fun bunch of friends!

Good morning ~  It is getting hotter and hotter - 104 with a heat index of 110 for today - UGH 😠 We will definitely wilt today kittyfan!!

I had a great time with the GS and GD yesterday.  We got the errands done and GD wanted some scratch offs so we all got one and played. Of course we didn't win anything, but had fun trying.  We went to lunch for some great burgers and the best sweet potato fries I've had in years!  We did save room for shakes on the way home.  Full up, hot and tired and especially happy.  

Envious of your grilling Ribeyes walker.  It's been way too long around here, but too hot to grill.  DD and SIL stayed in the neighbor's pool most of the afternoon.  Too hot to eat and I was still full.  Great day even with the hot sun!

Tootie, it's hard to believe you have rain when the rest of us are overheated!  Go figure.  

Time to get going on the MGR.  Today I will be riding Betty Blue Fish

She's blue because she is always cool.  Cute isn't she?  She also loves Mimosa's and can make her own ice - haha

Good morning friends ... yikes cookie/kittyfan!! you are going to be hot, hot, hot .. we had miserable rain all day long ... we were still able to sit on the patio and DD stopped over for a visit ... today sunny with a high of 81 (our cold front!)

cookie, it sounds like you had a wonderful day with your grandkids!! how fun!! ... and your lunch with the added milkshake sounds good!! glad you had a good day.

walker, glad that you were able to enjoy your deck and it sounds like you had a good dinner too!!

Well, another day on the MGR ... cookie, I love Betty Blue .. I think I'll ride Ellie Elephant today ... she can keep us cool!! round and round and round we go ...

Good Morning Friends!  🇺🇸😷☀️

I hate to say this since cookie and kittyfan are sizzling in TX....BUT....it is beautiful and COOL(er) here today!  I could not wait to turn A/C off and open doors/windows.  It won't last long as 90's will be back in a couple of days.  That heat in TX is oppressive ....take care there!!

Your day with GD/GS sounded perfect, cookie!  Shopping, fun, good food with family!  Keep the car, eh?  Just be my chauffeurs! 

Tootie, glad you could sit outside for a bit when DD stopped over. We have all been stuck inside so much.  When do you have your test this week?  We will be thinking of you with all good wishes.

We are going to soccer game for GD this morning.  No masks needed...whew.  But, I need to get breakfast and go to church-in-my-chair...😀.....can't be late ...DH may take my seat...haha.

Love pretty Betty Blue and Ellie can give us an occasional spray to be cool....I will ride along on Sabrina Swan ....gliding along with grace...🙄 ...or not.

I am so loving all the animals. I need the one with a wide seat!!

Lasronth when we played train the hostess said she had packed on weight. I looked at her and she really had. In January she adopted a dog. Her previous sweet dog had passed. She related she had to take him to the vet. He was 35 lbs overweight. He is a bigger dog and didn't waddle but mistress and dog had clubbed up!!!

Did virtual church. Then zipped over to Café. Placed my order. Since they use sweet Kristen's phone my name comes up as we are contacts. They don't have a ask my name!!!

It was so good. I try to do my part to support them. This was the first time in months I was able to give them plates from the TS.

Predictions are 106. Of course heat index is much more.

While I was waiting several people did patio dining. Too hot for me. I hope they were busier. I know they depend on Café for a percentage of operating budget. They had closed to intakes for months but had recently opened for intakes again.

Hello ... good catch kittyfan! you wouldn't want Officer Bump after you! ... glad you were able to get your food from the Cafe and then head home to cool off ... 106 is hot!!

walker, happy to hear that you could go to your GD soccer game ... here we are just starting up with some kids sports and they are only allowed 2 spectators per kid ... my test is on Thursday ... I just hope that I can walk it and not bomb out ... ..

We had a nice breezy day ... windows opened!! and we grilled burgers tonight ...

Hi there.....day is done...well almost.....weather was good for soccer game but GD's team lost....had to laugh...GS was complaining and bored that he had to be there.  DD reminded him of all the LONG ball games his sister goes too!  Then he said...well I go to her 6 hour gymnastics meets....haha.....too bad so sad...told GS...that's life buddy...HA!  

kittyfan, glad you could support Cafe with pick up.  I don't know how people could sit outside in heat to eat.  Food is so good no one cares, eh?

Tootie, you will do fine on treadmill test ...just a walk...but, they increase it a bit and you hardly know until...yikes...you feel tired!  I thought I had walked ten minutes and it turned out to be just under 5 minutes! At end they asked if I could go 1 or 2 minutes longer....I chose 1..HA!!   I wish they would put a fan on the treadmill!  Can't they keep us cool?  Haha!  Too bad you and I could not have done our tests together!  Fun, right?
