Oh my Cookie I know your DD is a social butterfly but o have to agree with you.

I have been watching some meaningful Holy Week services. Under normal circumstances I probably wouldn't have made these efforts

Yes our threat of severe weather is now after midnight. Hopefully the weather folks are wrong on this event

        Q Easter greetingg.jpg

Good morning ~  Hope we all have a blessed day!  No plans here.  Yesterday turned out fantastic!  GD got a lot of DD's friends to drive down our road with lights and horns honking - posters too!  Quite a surprise!  She loved it.  The kids were over and we met outside keeping our distance.  A great idea from a great GD ❤️.  So very lucky to have her in our family.  Love my G'kids!

Up at 4 and witnessed some beautiful lightning - no thunder though.  We are supposed to be 81 today.  Storms???  No Easter bonnet her either.

Tootie I hope you get another drive by to see LG for Easter. Air hugs to him...

kittyfan are your dogs afreaid of the thunder?  Our oldest one is and he goes into my batroom to "hide"  poor thing, he is 13 and has arthritis in his hind leg.

Seven has figured out what female dogs are for  necessitating a trip to the vets earlier than planned. GS brought his white German Shepard with him and she had a great time with all the others in the front yard.  Beautiful girl.

Passing the coffee ~

Happy Easter!

I was up very early watching the weather. Finally decided I was going to be okay. Then I caught an Easter sunrise service at Arlington. Then caught the service at my Mom's church and finally my own.

Cookie. Sweet BD. Yes Seven getting snipped! I had a dog that knew weather was coming before we did. She would hide in shower.

Tootie:. Hope your virtual visits bring joy.

Walker:. Yes virtual church. I think we are fortunate to have these opportunities

It is a beautiful day here. A front coming in this evening.

I got a sweet call from one of my special gals at the cafe. She offered to bring items I might need. I told her how much I missed all.

S:. Sweet treats.

Good Easter Afternoon! 😷

It has really been a nice Easter morning.  Sun came out so I took my walk.  I watched a service by Franklin Graham early which was very nice.  Then I watched two different Masses....whew....not same as being in church but, honestly, I really enjoyed because I could focus on each service.....instead of being distracted in church as I sometimes am.......also, got more out of the messages/sermons given too.  God works in mysterious ways!!   Sounds like you saw some nice services too, kittyfan.

That was so nice of friend at Cafe to contact you.  Very nice to be thought of like that, eh?

DS called and family is going to drive-by for a brief outside visit and call it Easter!  Ha!  Looking forward to seeing them even for a few minutes!  They got a new puppy in March and he will be full grown by the time we get out of quarantine!

Enjoy your day everyone!  HOPPING off.....

Easter 2020 ....one for the books!  cookie, glad you had such a gorgeous day there.  I was wondering as I heard about storms in the TX area.

Our social distance Easter turned out great....both DS and DD with families arrived at same time.  We gathered in front...keeping our distance.....a 30 minute Easter.  Take what we can get!

You are right, cookie, I could get used to the televised services.  Both DH and I enjoyed them.  I have to applaud all networks that have made programming possible during this time.

See you all tomorrow.....oh no....I have Tootie's letter.....maybe I will just pass.......take it away Tootie.....

Re: Thyme For Fun!

[ Edited ]

Hello ... it sounds like we all had a good (at a distance) Easter ... we were able to do a drive by at DS's ... they had LG out for a walk so we got to chat for about 20 minutes ... DIL had him in a little bunny outfit ... he looked so cute!! ... walker, you are right ... Easter 2020 is one for the books!!

We also enjoyed two different Masses on TV today ... one from our Cathedral and the other from The Basilica ... what made it even more comfortable and relaxing (if you will) was we knew the priests that said the Mass at each one ... former priests at our parishes ... fun to see them again!

We brought dinner out to DD and then raced back home and we all ate "together" over Facetime ... it made for a fun night.

All for now ... see you in the morning! ... we're expecting some bad weather tomorrow ... very high (damaging, they say) winds and rain ...

oh, thanks for saving the V ... I think I have a good one ...
