Afternoon greetings!  Taking a UB after busy morning.  DH as been helping me clean some windows.  Then we had a service guy come check our A/C system which may need replacing next year...ugh...$$$.....that will mean new furnace too.  Our house is 22  years old and equipment is original.  Newer equipment is more energy efficient.

Kittyfan, I would appreciate a day off too after being gone.  And, Tootie, I have been gathering things for Goodwill as well in addition to setting aside some things for a church rummage sale at the end of the month.  I have bags and boxes everywhere!  How do I collect so much stuff!!!?

I checked my neighbor's flowers and.....relief.....the pot that I thought "went to pot" perked up again!  Whew!

My brother sent me a message that he found a letter QM wrote 6 years ago that she wanted read at her funeral.  It also mentioned music she wanted played and what she would wear.  OOOOPS! That didn't happen ......oh well....with her dementia I think she forgot she wrote it and I never thought to talk with her about it.

Bye for now.........here comes DH.....UB over....finish chores while I have his undivided attention today....ha!

Good morning ~  I have a huge bag in my closet waiting to be dropped off at Goodwill.  One would think that it would be dropped off right away, especially since it is in the same center as the nail salon!!?  Speaking of stuff, you don't know how much stuff you have until you have to pay for storage.  

Had some wonderful thunder and breezes yesterday afternoon, but we only got sprinkles.  kittyfan, did you get any rain?

Time for more coffee - passing the pot.  Eggs Benedict - YUM!

Good morning friends!! ... my problem with having bags of goodwill things hanging around is that I begin to "second guess" myself ... "will I be able to wear this?" "can't we use this for something?" .. so, I try to get the bags out as soon as possible ... they have a pickup right in the same plaza as my grocery store so it is really easy!!

walker, you know that you and your family made QM proud with your choices ...

Our skies got very dark and grey last night, but we ended up with very little rain too .... today we will have a cool day ... high of 74!! yay!!

We are having a nice stretch of weather right now and should be good over the weekend too.

Tootie, I know what you mean about second guessing yourself on the Goodwill items.  I do the same thing so quicker they go out the door the better!

Hi there Tootie.......I am doing laundry too.  I ran errands this morning.  Just went to check on neighbor's flowers.....hard job in summer things dry out so fast!  Good thing I checked because they needed another drink!  The weather is nice, not too hot but still things dry out quickly.  We need some rain.  

That tea sounds really good!!!

Met my Wednesday ladies lunch group then on to work at the thrift store. We are technically closed this week but the ladies said they had a lot of donations come in

Three weeks will be my week then Cristmas in July sale! Then hopefully I can take a break!!

Good morning ~  What's with the wake up at 3AM?  I have been blessed for the last few weeks with this.  Old age continues to be a joy.  Small chores left over from the big procrastinated ones - cleaning the rubber flap on the washing machine - ugh.  Long overdue.  WIll definitely go back to wiping after using.  Indoor UB's today - too humid.

Good morning friends!! ... cookie, maybe you need to stay up a little later than normal and you will sleep through your 3am wake up call?? ... OR take less UB's during the day and you will be super tired by days end  ... I'm guessing you have a front loading washer?? curious as to why the flap has to be cleaned ...

We will have another beautiful day ... sunny and high of 78! A small chance of rain expected tomorrow afternoon but after that it is clear sailing through Tuesday ....

We are having our 4th of July picnic on Sunday so I will be getting my "to do" and "to get" lists organized today ...

kittyfan, you certainly are busy and will be ready to crash on your vacation ...
