Hello ... thanks for the warm sentiments ... my friend lives about 20 minutes away ... not too far for me to pop in on her ...

bigkat, we bit the bullet about 5 years ago and bought a dyson vacuum ... I really wanted a canister one, but at that time they weren't available so I settled for the upright ... it is bagless and the container (sorry, can't think of what they call it) that collects our "dirt" is washable as is the filter ... the only down fall for me is that the hose is very stiff and tight (even after all these years) and it makes it hard to do stairs or anything up high ... the vacuum tips over to follow the hose .... it really does a good job though ... good luck on your hunt!!

Good morning ~  Another day in paradise minus the paradise.  We haven't gotten any Winter yet!  75 today - perfect UB day.  Tootie, you are fortunate that you live close to your BFF.  My BFF lives 1500 miles (CA) and I miss her and all the crazy fun we had.  We have been friends for 63 years. Hang on to these people, they are special.

Laundry and catch up if I can get out of my UB rocker.  Good luck with your vacuum bigkat.  It's almost as bad as looking for a new car.

Good morning everyone!! ... Yes, I am fortunate that she is so close ... I treasure our friendship ... cookie, you have your memories to keep you close with your BFF and when you do see each other, I bet it makes it that much better ...

We ended up getting a couple inches of light, fluffy snow that is blowing all over as it is windy too!! ... our high for today is 27 ... more snow and cold coming our way....

Good Morning Friends!

Cookie, your 75 there sounds perfect to me.  We will get to about 17.......brrrrrrr.....but sunny....that does help...a little...ha!

My best friends are miles away too since I have been on the move.  Thank heavens for the phone, emails, etc.  And, when we get together we just pick up where we left off....great fun always!

We do a casserole sale every year on Super Bowl Sunday. I took casseroles. Some ladies did baked goods. One lady is known for her snicker doodle cookies. You can always count on those. They fly out. The casseroles are to take home. One fella told one of the ladies he would buy whatever she brought. Didn't care what it was.

Howdy to all! Hope your Wednesday was good. We had no school today, snow, blowing and cold! DH said we had at least 9 inches over night, and it kept snowing all day. Kids were happy!

Thanks for vacuum thoughts...it takes DH forever to pick out any thing, even though he may say it's up to me, HE always picks out everything....control issues???

Cat and Kitty were quiet today, tolerating being close to eachother without growling, there may be hope!!

Kittyfan, great idea on selling casseroles/baked goods....drive through...pick up and go home...reheat/or cook.....great!!!  I will order next year. Do you have delivery? LOL!

Hi everyone - It's snowing and COLD - I ventured out to eat and am headed back to my bedroom with my fleece sheets and space heater...although I might do some baking - that will get me nice and warm.

I LOVE my new vacuum cleaner - the box said it's "Better Than a Dyson," and it really sucks!    With all my animals there's plenty of hair around, but that thing picks it up better than even expensive ones I've had.

Hope you're all doing well and keeping warm...less than six weeks 'til spring!

Good morning ~  Follow up Doc appointment for final status on my ablations.  Then errands.   bigkat, I love watching cats interact, they are so funny.  Mine are older and UB all day. We will be warm today - 85 - great UB weather.  Nothing much going on around here.   day coming up - anyone have plans?  Used to love watching the little ones passing out Valentines and putting them in their little bags or boxes.  FHG, try and stay warm.

Good morning everyone .... we are at 9 degrees now and our high for the day will be 14 with flurries!! ... lots of snow tomorrow for us ... bigkat, you sure got your share of snow ... tell DH if he chooses the vacuum, the vacuuming is all on him ... LOL ... cookie, good luck at your appointment ... FHG, good to see you ... hope you are able to get your issues solved soon ... in the meantime, stay warm!! ... walker, hope the snow holds "up" for you ... lots of crazy drivers that drive even crazier in the snow ... kittyfan, I'm with walker ... if you deliver the casseroles ... We don't go out for Valentines anymore ... just spend a quiet day at home ... (but don't forget we are having our Valentines Chocolate Making Day at BAT on Saturday!!)
