Hopoe everyone had a good evening  Mine was quiet.  Someone in the area was shooting off fireworks until early morning.  One little dog of mine is not happy.  He says he hopes no more tonight--but I think we will be hearing booms again.

Good morning ~  walker, you are not alone mixing up the days.  It feels like Monday to me.  Glad you are feeling better, Tootie!  DD is supposed to come home today.  They are calling it a "staph infection" and she will need to take boatloads of oral antibiotics for up to 3 weeks. SIL is recooperating nicely from his hip replacement surgery and is doing a happy dance.  Gotta love that man!!!  Why do my cats wake me up early on the days I could sleep in and leave me alone on the ones I need to start early?????  Have a great day!

Good morning ... the holidays (and DH having the day(s) off) always send me guessing as to "what day is it?" ... glad to hear that your DD is doing better and coming home (but ugh!! that she had to go through that) ... and your SIL is really "rockin it" too ...

Since I didn't have to "work my magic" for BAT this morning ... I guess I will use it to clean my house ... OR maybe just take some (more) UB's ...

More boomers last night.  My little Mr. Boodles was very upset,  His brow was furrowed!   Hopefully no more--I can hope.

Hi everyone - Happy New Year! 

It's gotten cold out - temps in the 40s - but I'm doing OK with the space heater the Lord provided.  I still have about 2" of water in my basement; it's probably low enough that the pilot light in the hot water heater can be turned back on, but a guy I called wanted $95 to do that - talk about GREED!  I have a dear friend who can turn it on but will have to wait until the water is gone; he does a lot of favors for me, and I don't expect him to go slogging through standing water, so I have to heat water to wash.  (sigh)  At least the dishwasher heats water, and I do laundry in cold. 

Sorry to hear about your DD being sick, Cookie.

The week between Christmas and New Year's is always sort of screwy; feels like a Sunday for the last couple of days...
