Good morning ~  Hope today finds you feeling better, Tootie.  I think we can all survive without BAT this Saturday - we  do want our Hostess with the Mostest to get better and rested up.  SIL took DD to the ER yesterday afternoon.  She was in lots of pain and shivering badly.  She had no temp, but was writhing in pain and shivering.  They think it is sepsis (not a good thing),  did some tests and gave her some mediction. They will keep her overnight.  I think, as do the docs, that it could have been caused by her latest surgery/procedure by bacteria, which is one of the reasons for sepsis.  She is resting and quiet. SIL came home and will return early this morning.  What next???  Thankful that we "forced" her to call her doc!

Anyone have plans for tonight?  I have never been one to celebrate.

Good morning .... oh no cookie!! sorry to hear about your DD ... that sounds like an awful ordeal to have gone (and be going) through ... hope they can get her feeling better again ... will keep her in my prayers ....

No plans for me tonight either ... I have never liked celebrating New Years ....

I'm going to try and get myself motivated to do something today, but may just end up enjoying your "U" cookie ....

Oh my goodness---Cookie---hugs to you and your DD.  Your family has certainly had the medical issues.  So happy your SIL took her to ER. 

Tootie:  I think you wore yourself out---I have been sick at holiday time in the past---easy to run yourself ragged doing for everyone!.  Take good care of yourself.

W:  waving out this year---New Year is around the corner--and a Leap Year.  Hope that everyone has a year full of promise and joy.

Update ~ DD will have surgery this morning.  The L implant was still draining showing blood, so it will be taken out and allowed to heal.  Spoke with her early this morning and she said her heart rate was high and BP low this morning.  I haven't heard anything more.  She must be feeling better - she posted on FB.  

Take good care, Tootie.  I think more people get sick during the Holidays due to all the stress related activities,shopping and schedule changes.

Hello everyone!

Just had to check in one more time for 2015 but sorry to hear news on your DD, cookie!  Wishing her ALL GOOD THINGS in 2016!!!  Keep us posted ....so sorry she has gone through so much.   She will be glad to close the door on 2015!

Tootie, wishing you well again too....start new year off feeling good!   Between the busy holiday season and BATs every week, you wore yourself out.  Recharge!

When we are home, we usually have a quiet New Year's Eve which is fine with me.  This year, at son's house, it will be hats, horns, fireworks, noise, etc.   They always have friends over too.  Hope I don't end up in a corner asleep.  I will shoot DIL if she puts me on Facebook....ha!

GO MSU, bigkat, or are you M fans?  If so, they are in Gator country tomorrow....good luck.

Good morning ~  Well, I certainly missed seeing the New Year in - I was out by 10. DD finally had removal/surgery and was resting in recovery. Apparently she is well enough to post on FB!  That would be my last thing to do were it me, but I am old and locked up in the old ways.  She certainly has had her share of problems. Hope she can come home today.  

Thank you HoneyBit for your kind words and it is nice to see you every so often.  We do enjoy and support each other around here.  Tootie, hope you are feeling better!   Mani this morning then UB's!  Good wishes to all ~

Good Morning and Happy New Year to All!

I made it to midnight....awake! I think people were getting tired of me saying......1 hour, 30 minutes, 20 minutes, etc...ha.  Had a little champagne and everyone said good night!   My days are all mixed up and this seems like a Saturday now.

Cookie, sure hope your DD starts new year off feeling good and coming home!!!

Tootie, glad you are feeling better now.  No BAT tomorrow though, right?
