Oh my gosh, cookie, my thoughts are same as Tootie's....both hips replaced at same time?  Hope each day he feels better and better til good as new!  And, best wishes to your DD too as she prepares for her procedure.  Get everything behind you/them this year and start new year off stronger and healthier!

Good idea about taking QA to mall, Tootie!  If you don't hear from me for awhile, I am lost...or just sitting on Santa's lap crying.

Hope everyone is having a good day! Doesn't see like Christmas time with the weather we've had! I wont complain though...makes it easier to change lights outside that decided to stop working!! That I don't enjoy...but it's done.

Good morning everyone!! ... aaahhhhh bigkat, the dreaded "some of the lights are out!" ... at least you had nice weather to change them in .... we are in for another nice day ... high of 49!

It seems everyday I pull out a little bit more of my decorations ... a couple more today and I should be all done!! I'm just not putting a lot out this year ...

Good morning ~ G'kids hung our lights the other day with fingers crossed!  SIL is doing so well, he went with his brother to get the hay rolls for the horses! He was not a participant - management only but was able to get out of his truck which is one of those very high ones. What is it with men and their toys? We will be 60 today.  Every day is a different season inTX.

Good Morning Friends!

Well, I survived the mall madness yesterday.  I had a plan for day hitting certain stores, then mall, finally grocery shopping.  I left home at 9am and returned at 3pm!  Ugh!  But, I think I am done.  Then, crazy person that I am, I second guess myself...."did I get the right thing?" Ha!  I know I over-bought too....my credit card was smokin'!  Every year I say I will do things differently...hasn't happened yet......maybe next year....HOHOHO!

Today I am going to bake some cookies, QM recipes, to send to her.  I did not have time to bake before my visit last week so I will mail them.   Tonight we go to a Christmas program at Three Amigos school, tomorrow one for granddaughter......let the fun begin!

I think we have rain and 50 predicted for Christmas! That can change quickly though.

I do the same every year too walker...and I think did I not get enough for the kids and I over buy!

I'm sure QM will love what you send her, that's a package of love!! Enjoy the program, waht fun!

I'm heading to DMs to fix her lights that I put up...some burned out. I hope it's a quick fix as we have rain coming!

Hello ... walker, that is a loooong day of shopping, but best to get out and get it all taken care while you can .... so that's what that smoke was coming from your way  ... so easy to overbuy ... especially at Christmas time ... I miss the school programs with the little ones ... so cute and so much fun ... have a great time!!

bigkat, pyrotechs is right up your alley ... so it shouldn't take too long to fix your DM's lights ... (hopefully) ...
