Good morning~ SIL is home and boy are the horses glad to see him!  He peeked outside but cannot make the trek to the barn to feed them.  He is doing well and using the walker like a pro. We will be 73 today so after the chores are finished, I will be in ESM and enjoying some UB's outside.  Thanks to Amazon, I have finished my Christmas shopping(I hope).  Now I am going to give myself a gift.  Another Kindle (paperwhite).  I just use them to read and my old one is getting harder on my eyes. More coffee please...

Hello ... taking a short UB ... cookie, glad that your SIL is doing so well .... We broke a record today ... we hit 70 degrees and the old record was 64!! yahoo!! ... it just started to rain a little bit and I am waiting for the wind to pick up ..... cookie, I love my kindle for reading too (and sometimes games ) ... I'll be anxious to hear how you like the paperwhite one ....

Got to love Amazon. I am a regular. I ordered something third party. Tried to cancel. Couldn't. Then I checked it was out for delivery in Ohio!!! I am no where close. So I fired off an email. lost in transit!!! Refunded my $$$

Hi friends.....oh my, Amazon is certainly my friend this year too!  So far so good with ordering, deliveries,etc.  But, tomorrow I hit the dusty trail to Mall for finishing some things...gift cards for all..ha!   I have birthdays this month too which adds to stress....oh well and HOHOHO.....plus grandma's meds daily...ha!

Cookie, what surgery did SIL have....knee, hip?  Glad he is home and doing well.

Good morning ~  walker, SIL had both hips replaced.  Fortunately, I still have my walker from my knee replacements (paid for by ins) in 2007 & 8.   DD spent the afternoon with pre surgery stuff for her implants on the 22nd. Oh boy, 2 semi incapcitated people during Christmas!  Today I will be wrapping all the gifts that are going to CA. as well as my own.  I love wrapping.  I used to do it every year when I was in HS.  Macy's (was then Bullock's in CA) offered me a job in the custom wrap which I gladly accepted.  Lots of fun too.

Good morning everyone!! ... wow cookie, they replaced both hips at the same time?? ... and I can't believe they sent him home without a walker!! that is crazy!! ... it sounds like he is doing very, very well .... glad to hear that things are moving along for your DD .... you'll be on "double duty" over Christmas ...

walker, good luck as you hit the mall today ... you may want to go in with QA ... you can park on top of the mall and not have to worry about the lot .... good to see you kittyfan and bigkat ... Amazon was our friend this year too and we had no issues with shipping/delivery ...

cookie, thanks for the review on the Hydrox ... I think I will stick with the Oreo's Thins .....
