This was always one of our favorites while tailgating at the NASCAR races. I would make the marinade the night before. Then add the shrimp in the morning to marinate on the way to the track. Throw it on the grill at the race track, add some Bloody Mary's and you've got brunch under the tent! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

TASTY GRILLED SHRIMP

1 cup olive oil

1/4 cup parsley

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 Tbsp tomato paste

1 Tbsp oregano

1 Tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce (or to taste)

2 lbs shrimp, shelled and deveined

Add all ingredients (except shrimp) into either a large glass bowl or plastic bag. Mix well.

Add shrimp to bowl, or bag. If using glass bowl, cover. Marinate for 2 hours.

Grill over medium to high heat for about 3 minutes, turn shrimp, cook another 3 minutes, or until done.

This recipe is good hot or cold.

Note: I've used frozen shrimp, after thawing in fridge. Plus I have used the shelled kind too for peel and eat style (my favorite).
