Here's the other recipe that came from my Aunt's recipe collection. I copied it exactly as she had written, including one of her comments at the bottom. She didn't indicate what size pan to use, or make a reference as to how it's best served. I would guess that it should be served cold to get the full benefit of presentation and flavors coming together. To me, this sounds like a cheese cake, but she's calling it a pie. I guess it doesn't matter if it tastes as good as it sounds!

Strawberry Cheese Pie

Crust:

1/2 box of graham crackers
1/4 lb butter, melted
1 teaspoon brown sugar
roll crackers and add butter and brown sugar
line pan with crumbs

Filling:

2 pks 8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese
1 cup of sugar
4 whole eggs (add one at a time)
2/3 pint of sour cream
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Put ingredients in mixer in order given, beating well
Bake 1 hour at 350 deg

Topping:

1 can of sweetened strawberries, drained and saving the juice
add 1 heaping tablespoon of corn starch to juice, and cook until thick. When cool, spread over top of pie.

*My thoughts: it's pretty and everyone likes it - but I never did like strawberries
