@cbrite Was it cottage cheese, with dry jello mix, cool whip and fruit?
i used to make it with orange jello and pineapple when I was kid.
Also, jelled jello, cream cheese, cool whip and canned fruit.
I remember those two from my teen years.

No...none of those.... gosh, I can't remember my own parents meals and cooking....🤔
They were sort of stuck on eating only certain things....meat and potatoes type 😬... My mom had no issue with walking out of a restaurant if the food did not suit her or my dad..... I know my dad did that red jello, stirred up with whip cream and pineapple..... for years he made it.... It was red. That's for sure. Big heart shapped, clear glass bowl....never failed!

Why do I have so many questions now when it's way too late..... Hate that.

Gosh you remember from way back!!! Good going 😏
I'm about the age where I can be hung in an Antique store and sold...😲

@Carmie wrote:@cbrite I have never heard of it before you posted it. It's new for me too.
i mix cream cheese and marshmallow fluff together to dip fruit in.
Thank you! I recently made a huge cake that called for a fluff frosting. Of course, I had to buy the jumbo jar cuz that is all they carried! While the frosting was delish and great to use for decorating...I now have this dumb tub of fluff to use up!
Thanks for the suggestion of cream cheese, fluff and fruit!

@RespectLife You're welcome. You mix the cream cheese and marshmellow fluff together with a mixer. Serve fruit for dipping on the side.

@Carmie I think I have fluff.....and cream cheese. No mixer...well maybe somewhere. I'll get back to you 😬 I was adding that marshmello fluff to the sweet potatoes....like an entire jar.

@cbrite If you have a good arm, you can mix by hand. I would think using a mixer is much easier though.

I would use Creme Fraiche instead of sour cream, and eliminate the sugar. Cream Fraiche is less sour ,than sour cream, and richer

@cbrite wrote:@panda1234 How would I use it with fresh blueberries? TIA
@cbrite @Since they are too small for dipping, I would put them in a dish with a dollop of the mixture on top.
