Re: Southern-Style Macaroni and Cheese

@HerRoyaLioness  Widmers is all I use!  In fact we were just there in Theresa last weekend stocking up.  Yes, agree we do know a good cup of coffee.  Been to the Door many times over the years. I hope you like the recipe!  Smiley Happy

Re: Southern-Style Macaroni and Cheese

@SaveTheTurtles we recently visited Door County. Within a small triangle, we stocked up on DC Christmas coffee, Peninsula wines and got a DC Christmas candle. Then headed north to the Tannenbaum Shop for ornaments and to Bea's for cherry turnovers. Wish I lived there.

@AuntG  Goodness, I've been to those shops. Bea's has my favorite jam of all time; cherry almond. I haven tween to DC in quite a few years. Glad you had a nice time visiting my state. Smiley Happy

Re: Southern-Style Macaroni and Cheese

Wow Im shocked at the amount of posters that did not eat mac & cheese regularly as a kid.  Also shocked that so many do not/did not use Velveeta.   Say what you want about Velveeta not being real cheese but its the best when cooking and for mac & cheese.  Just my opinion ladies.

Velveeta makes great grilled cheese sandwiches.
