Southern Style Ham N Vegetables
4 servings of sliced cooked ham
1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
2 tablespoons butter
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup water
1 package or 10 ounces of frozen brussel sprouts that have been
cooked and drained. (can use fresh)
1 can or 17 ounces sweet potatoes or yams that have been drained.
In a skillet, brown the ham with caraway in butter. Remove to heated platter, keep warm. Stir soup, sour cream, and water into drippings. Now add brussel sprouts and potatoes. Heat, stirring occasionally. Arrange vegetables mixture around the ham on the platter. Makes 4 servings.
My mom use to make this to get rid of leftovers around the holidays. I always loved it! Hope you will too!![]()
