Yes, I eat soups year around though maybe not as often in the summer as the rest of the year.
I usually make various stews, enchiladas, manicotti, soups, chili, and more. After a couple days, I put the rest in single serve containers and put in the freezer so I can eat it whenever I don't feel like cooking.

I like soup anytime of year. Since retired I like to eat a very light evening meal-soup,salad, or cereal. I have learned to generally cut the recipes in half . I don't want it hanging around until it rots in refrig or has freezer crystals when forgotten about and ignored.
Last week I made a caponata (crock pot)with a piece of sourdough to dip. I have recently made an wonton soup.I do like to go to the extra work of making a chicken or beef bone broth stock to use for the extra nutrition and flavor in my soups. DH & I like pozole or chilli occasionally eveni nsummer.

I eat soups all year round. I love them and just made a Street corn soup that was amazing and I did use up some of the small bits of leftovers in it too. Nothing that didn't go with the ingredients in the recipe--used up mashed spuds instead of cut -up spuds, that sort of thing.

July 28, up to 100 degrees, and we are heating up frozen turkey chili and beans for lunch! Never too hot for good chili!!! But you need a lot of iced tea today too! On the rocks--no sugar!

Just made soup today from some leftovers; roast beef, rice, onion, carrots, jalapeno, beef bouillon and V8. Hit the spot for me, but not something my girls would eat.

Yes! In the summer I love making the old Weight Watchers Zero Point Favorite Vegetable Soup. It has fresh tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, cabbage and basil. Plus a bunch of other easy to find ingredients. It tastes like a garden in your soup bowl I made it last month and will probably make it again soon. Yum!

Ina Garten's recipe for carrot ginger soup can be served hot or cold, it's made with oven roasted carrots. It can be made gluten free, paleo or vegan.
My Mom would make me Campbell's cream of tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch when I was in elementary school (we walked home for lunch).
I grew up eating a lot of German and Slovenian foods and my Mom would occasionally make a Bavarian liver dumpling soup that was very good. Big round meatballs in a beef broth. It was the only palatable way I was ever going to eat calves liver as a kid. The meatballs didn't taste like liver at all.

Yes. Had Chciken Tortilla soup made in the crockpot last night. Easiest soup to make. Had quesadilla on the side.
