I am having a little trouble trying to decide what to serve with some royal red shrimp that I am cooking for a few friends and family. I plan on starting with clam chowder and then serving the shrimp, salad, and crusty baguettes. One of my guests is providing dessert. Any other suggestions or additions you might think of? Thanks!

Re: Shrimp menu help, please!

You could make some rice and add a little Madras curry to it. When done stir in chopped green onions. You could either make it with water or chicken broth.

I think DiAnne's idea is great. I might add a simple stir fry with small button mushrooms, halved, some wedged slices of onion, and some Chinese snow peas, seasoned with a little soy sauce.

You should have a lovely time with your friends, and they should have eaten well. Smile
