Re: Shout out to Mustang and all our QVC pals

[ Edited ]

It is after 1:00 am, and we finally locked our door.

So many wonderful neighbors, friends, and relatives called, many stopped by who live in the neighborhood, and even in deep grief we felt  their kind caring support, humane compassion, deep concern, and love.

Many brought enough food, fruit baskets, and desserts to feed an Army, and the flowers many sent are beautiful and fragrant beyond words.

Many knew Phillips Parents since we always included them in all our back yard BBQ pool parties, and holiday gatherings.

Phillip's Parents  really had a very special way of making everyone they met feel special, and cared for.

They always offered their wise advice only when asked, and knew to remain neutral when needed. They were both great loving  and very supportive In-Laws to me, and such loving parents to their son.

We shall surely miss their presence, their compassion, support, advice, wisdom, and most importantly their love for their us, and their love of true faith, and marital happiness.

Phillip and I feel so very blessed for our QVC cyber family, especially in times of need, support, and the inevitable grief journeys, which we unfortunately. must take as we continue to live on God's sweet Earth.

The words "thank you all cannot quite say what we feel in our hearts", so now we thank each and every one of you for your kind warm compassionate caring replies, and we shall hold them very dear to our hearts. Also new replies we shall also acknowledge and remain so grateful for.

I will check back periodically when I am up to it because unexpectedly the tears rage from our eyes like an angry Tsunami with no end in sight......and Father Time still marches forward to the beat of his darn drum.

If only we could turn back the clock and be with all our loved ones again, and this month is also especially hard for me again, because in mid August  I still grieve the loss of my beloved first husband, followed exactly 2 weeks later by the loss of my beloved sweet Mother.

I thank God every day for bringing Phillip into my life when we met overseas at a time when we were both grieving, but still our hearts are heavy with grief especially now, so please understand if I am away for a while in between replies.

Grief is like a raging Tsunami which drowns you and robs you of breath with every heartfelt sob, your heart shatters time and again, as you understand more deeply and feel your loss...and this dual loss now is so hard to bear.

When in deep grief there are times when we just cannot function well......but such is the grief journey, it certainly changes our lives, and comes without warning to deliver each blow, then slowly ebbs away like a thief in the day and night...... only to re-appear to do the same.... time and again.

Phillip and I certainly have a long hard road ahead of us, and we pray we can endure the painful grief journey which has already begun.

Many thanks again, much love from us to each of you, and again enjoy today and live for today.

Remain safe and know you are loved and never really alone because God and our Savior are always there taking each foot step we take with us during our lives to guide us, fill us with strength, hope, understanding, and wisdom....... and they both continue to shower us with enduring deep faith and love....

God Bless each of you always!
