Shamrock Shake

1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream

1/2 cup whole milk

10 drops green food coloring

1 tsp. peppermint extract

Whipped cream (optional)

1 maraschino cherry

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, green food coloring, and peppermint extract, and process until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour the shake into a glass and top with the whipped cream and maraschino cherry.

Thank you! It is only once a year. I don't think I had been to McDonald's since last March. My family went over the weekend just for Shamrock shakes. When I heard the total for the 4 shakes I wondered why I am not making my own. I have a Vitamix!

So true!! I have a family of 5 in this house, and i certainly couldn't bring home only one or two...they do add up! It was so nice of you to share this. What a nice person-YEAH!!

yesterday, i tried arby's chocolate mint swirl shake and it super good! andes mints sprinkled on top.
