Aarti from Aarti Party used sauteed lemons in her carrot salad receipt -- Saute very thinly, quartered slices in EVOO, salt & pepper on low heat about 20 minutes.

The lemons are delicious in the carrot salad! She also used Indian spices, which essentially made the dish.

My question is -- what else might I be able to pair with sauteed lemons in a savory dish? I've got some ideas swirling around, but I'm too novice of a cook to think of anything besides over fish or with rice. I can also see sweetening these up for desserts, but I primarily want savory.
