.....Sausage Sheet Pan All-In-One Dinner... Easy and Delicious!

[ Edited ]

Sausage Sheet Pan All-in-One Dinner

SAUSAGE SHEET PAN SUPPER

This is one of the easiest ways to get dinner on the table for your family, without doing a lot of work or ending up with a ton of dishes. Sausage Sheet Pan Supper cooks all at once, on one baking sheet! The result is a zesty and flavorful meal. *I haven’t tried using chicken or other meats in place of the sausage but I’m sure it would be just a delicious.

What You'll Need:

  • 1 (0.7-ounce) dry packet Italian dressing mix (I used Hidden Valley)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (I used ⅓ cup as it seemed not enough)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/4 pounds creamy type potatoes (yukon, red, etc) cut in 1” chunks (I used sweet potatoes)
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 12 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed (I used fresh broccoli florets)
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, cut into 1-inch slices (hot or sweet)

What To Do:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine dressing mix, oil, and pepper; mix well. Add potatoes, onion, and green beans and toss until evenly coated. Spread on rimmed (foil lined) large baking sheet.
  3. Bake 15 minutes, then add sausage to vegetable mixture and stir.
  4. Bake 20 to 25 minutes more, or until done (I baked 30 minutes for nicely browned sausage)

@ciao_bellalol  even before I read the whole recipe, I said to myself "Hope it's something that will work for chicken thighs."  That recipe is right up my allety - and since the doctor took me off red meats last week, I've been checking out my chicken recipes as well as my vegetarian choices.  Just yesterday, I picked up a pack of thighs on a deep sale -  I'm going to use them in your recipe. Sounds perfect. Thanks!

@ciao_bella  Thank you for this one.  We Gs will have it in the near future, as cooler temperatures waken the appetite for more savory dishes.  Here is another all-in-one sheet pan meal that we like quite a bit: Apple Kielbasa Bake .

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.

@ciao_bella...  I will have to try with the Italian dressing.  I make Italian sausage, bell pepper and potatoes in olive oil, oregano and a little broth.  Always sooo good.  TY for sharing

Is the sausage raw or fully cooked?

I make this recipe using boneless chicken breast and a lot of butter.  Your recipe sounds so much better.  I am definitely going to make this recipe.  Thanks for posting

Thanks for posting this.  Apparently, sheet-pan dinners are becoming very common.  I just saw a sheet-pan salmon recipe in a magazine, which I will post soon in a separate listing, in case anyone's interested in searching only for a fish dish.
