@eddyandme.  Every word of your message could've been written by me,  I've had salmon in the freezer for a month waiting for the salmon fairy to tell me an easy way to prepare it.

I found this recipe online which I'm going to try in my air fryer.  I'll bake it on one side, turn put on this topping and bake until done.  What's good for a halibut ought to do for a salmon.

I'm all about easy.  I simply marinate it for at least 30 minutes in Lawry's Teriyaki with pineapple juice marinade.  I bake it in the oven at 375 till done.  It's delicious!

I also try to fix salmon once a week so I appreciate the different recipes posted here.  Here are a couple of ways I have prepared it....easy clean-up in foil tents.

Salmon in Foil #1

Place salmon on a piece of foil big enough to wrap or "tent" it.  Spread a little olive oil on it, then garlic and salt and pepper.  Top each piece of salmon with a couple slices of lemon.  Tent foil around salmon.  Bake at 425 for 17 minutes.

Salmon in Foil #2

Place salmon on piece of foil big enough to wrap or "tent" it.  Sprinkle some herbs on top with dash of pepper*  and touch of white wine.  Tent foil around salmon.  Bake at 425 for 15 minutes. * I use Lemon-Pepper Seasoning.

Another one...interesting how recipes call for different temperatures and time for baking.

Salmon...uncovered

2-4 salmon filets

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

3 garlic cloves (or less...up to you), minced

salt and pepper

1 teaspoon parsley

1 teaspoon dried dill

Set salmon out for at least 15 minutes and pat dry.  Set on baking sheet or in dish.  Mix butter with lemon juice.  Brush on salmon.  Top with minced garlic along with salt and pepper.  Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.  Remove from oven and sprinkle with parsley and dill.

I'm very boring with my salmon recipe.  I just sprinkle Lemon Pepper on it and air fry it for 13 minutes.  I like it cooked all the way through.

I like simple--lemon or lime juice, some fresh herbs if you have them.  Maybe a light glaze of honey or maple syrup.

Also, mash up or put in blender or food processor: KIWI!  It is wonderful on salmon.  A little honey in that is good too, but just the kiwi is wonderful.  Gold ones are best.

@eddyandme   Went to the fish dock where we get our fish right off the boat this past Sunday. He goes farther North in the Atlantic to get the salmon.  He brings out the whole fish right there, scales it, filets and we have him remove the skin. It's still wiggling (just kidding but thats how fresh it is).  It doesn't taste like commercially packaged salmon. Has a deep buttery silky taste. We get him cut to what he calls dinner sized pieces - 4 in thick, 6 in long.

My recipe - Pat salmon dry -  season filets with garlic and onion powder, pepper and smoked paprika and little Old Bay. I use my electric skillet and sautee them in avocado oil on 325 for 4 minutes each side. They get an amazing crust on them.  Let it rest 5 to 10 minutes.

I cant get it in my mouth fast enough.  Many very good looking recipes here!  All sound delicious.  Enjoy 🐠

I also cut it in pieces and saute in a tiny bit of oil (just to keep from sticking) and a little maple syrup to brown and get crusty!  SO good.  Candied salmon!!!!
