I got the Faroe Island salmon 'cause it would be a good protein and a quick and easy meal. However, I don't really like salmon and am wondering if anyone here has a simple recipe to help make it more edible to me without a medley of add-ins.
I've got a Crispi, sheet pans, small crockpot, and just got that prepology microwave grill for quick cooking and easy clean up. Being single, with just my Brody (a furbaby with an appetite!), I'm just not into cooking.
TIA![]()

for 1 1/2 lbs salmon mix 1 1/2 TBSP dijon mustard with 1 1/2 TBSP maple syrup
Brush on salmon fillets. Mix 1/4 cup chopped pecans with 2 TBSP panko breadcrumbs.
Put pecans and breadcrumbs on top of mustard maple syrup mixture on salmon. I bake at 425 for 12 minutes.
For less salmon you will have to adjust the amounts of each. I don't care for salmon but love this dish. I will often make a big salad similar to nicoise and put salmon in the middle.

@eddyandme we typically have salmon weekly for dinner (roasted, airfried or grilled). Keeping it simple but we switch up the sauce that we serve on the side. This is one of our fave sauces - good for salmon and veggies
1 cup butter
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Heat butter, soy sauce, mustard, garlic, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until butter is melted and sauce comes to a gentle simmer, about 10 minutes. Serve warm over cooked salmon.

@eddyandme Not sure if a Crispi can work similar to a George Forman Grill. But about once a week we have salmon for dinner. It is the only time we use our George Forman Grill. We cook the salmon for about 5 minutes.
Then I put Robert Rothschild Roasted Pineapple Glaze on top of the salmon. It can be bought many places. And tastes good too.
It is the sides that take time to prepare. Salmon is quick and easy.

Another favorite sauce:
Use the water to bring it to a loose, drizzleable consistency. (You may need a touch more depending on your yogurt brand.)
Enjoy immediately or store refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.

I use McCormick taco seasoning as a rub and grill my salmon. Then I break it apart and make tacos with it. I use soft corn tortillas and add all of the taco fixin's. Delicious.

Another good option is to use a glaze. This is our favorite glaze:

1/4 cup red or white miso
1/3 cup sake
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup sugar
4 skinless salmon fillets, at least 1 inch thick, 5 to 6 ounces each
Whisk together miso, sake, soy sauce, oil, and sugar. Rub mixture over every surface of salmon fillets. Transfer to a plastic zipper lock bag or sealable container. Proceed immediately to next step, or for best results, marinate for about 30 minutes or up to 2 days.

This the way I usually prepare out salmon, which we eat at least every other week. My husband LOVES salmon.

@eddyandme - We love salmon and have it often. Usually I poach it in white cooking wine. Sometimes I add capers.
Here is another way: It sounds complicated, but it's not! And it's so good!
Honey Soy Glazed Salmon (you can adjust the recipe for one; this one calls for 4 pieces)
4 Salmon fillets
4 Tbsp. Honey
1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
1/4 tsp. Dried Red Pepper
Preheat broiler. Mix together honey and next 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Place salmon on heavy duty aluminum-lined pan. Brush with 2 Tbsp. Honey mixture. Broil 4 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with 2 more Tbsp. Honey mixture. Return to oven and broil 4 more minutes. Remove from oven and brush salmon with remaining Honey mixture. Broil 2 minutes more. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
