It is hot, even in the a/c today lol. Im tired, never really fell aslerp last night and my back is killing me and cranky ( long story i just erased, youre welcome LOL) and need to curb getting takeaway soooo

I just sliced some cold cucumber and slathered Sambra Roasted Garlic Hummus on some multigrain Arnolds bread.....so refreshing but i gotta say really garlicky wow.

Any one having interesting eats today?

Re: Refreshing Satisfying Sandwich

Sounds summery for a warm day. Haven't had a cucumber sandwich in years. Will try one this summer.

Tonite I'm going to make a meatball sandwich. I have a beef and quinoa large meatball from my small market's prepared food section with extra sauce. I'll slice a chunk of crusty Italian bread, add the sauce as a spread, bread and butter pickles as garnish and thick slices of the meatball. Probably with a sliced apple and Diet 7-Up. Tea with light cream after.

Tonite I'll have the meatball cold, warm and muggy here. In the winter I'd heat it and the sauce and pait them with ziti.

I'm getting hungry....Woman Very Happy

The electric went off right as I was preparing a sandwich myself.  I had roast beef and cheese with mayo.😃❤️

Yes, but I was nervous lol.  Thankfully, it was only off a couple hours, but I really don't understand why it went off--no rain or winds today.  Yesterday, the wind blew down my grape vines on one end.

Re: Refreshing Satisfying Sandwich

We decided to postpone our cookout until tomorrow evening due to the weather. So DD picked up Thai food for her and me. DH didn't want that so he had a hot dog.

I had plans to read and watch a movie on TV. I was excited to see Carolyn Pollack was on at 4. Even though I probably wouldn't buy anything I always enjoyed watching her. DH didn't need anything, so I settled down on the sofa to watch. . . and fell asleep after the first presentation! I missed the whole show! I hope I can find the show on QVC 2 or 3.  Smiley Sad

Re: Refreshing Satisfying Sandwich

I made a pot of French onion soup. B c, I served that with beef sish kabobs, mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans.

I was too busy to make dessert, so there is ice cream in the freezer that will have to do if DH wants some.
