I make my own chili and almost always put my portion over pasta--ditalini or better yet chilii mac pasta when I can find it.
I found one here on the forums using the search feature and select BOARDS from the drop down. Type in Chili - Ghetti in the searchbox. It was posted in 2013 by Lil' Bit Misty.

Yes, I liked her recipes too @depglass. Always liked pasta and casserole recipes. My husband asked that I make one from a long time ago, and unfortunately, I never wrote down the ingredients. He recalls it was spaghetti with canned Hormel Chili as part of the sauce. I just said "oh, really" because I have no idea how to recreate it.

SPICY SAUSAGE PASTA

This is definitely not a warm weather meal but it is a cozy meal on a rainy night.
1 T olive oil
1 pound kielbasa or smoked polish sausage, sliced
1-1/2 cups diced onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken stock
1 10 oz. can RoTel diced tomatoes with green chilies
1/2 cup heavy cream
8 oz. uncooked penne pasta
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/3 cups thinly sliced green onions
In an oven safe skillet heat olive oil until very hot. Add the sausage and onions. Cook until lightly browned. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add the chicken stock, RoTel tomatoes, cream, pasta, salt and pepper. Stir and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer until the pasta is tender (about 15 minutes). Remove from the heat and stir in 1/2 of the cheese. Top with remaining cheese and green onions. Place under the broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is melted, browned and bubbly.

Baked Penne with Italian Sausage in White Cheese Sauce

On vacation we ate at a wonderful little Italian restaurant in downtown Santa Barbara. They served a marvelous baked ziti in a white sauce. I searched for a similar recipe to no avail, but recently found something I could adapt, and we are more than pleased with it. I prefer it with penne. This dish is extremely rich, very flavorful and is halved easily for an 8" baking dish. I serve it with sliced fresh tomatoes and plain steamed broccoli. Although Italian white sauce doesn't seem to be the most common, there are some out there.
Beebee's Baked Penne with Italian Sausage in White Cheese Sauce
1 lb. pkg penne
4 T salad oil
1 lb. sweet or hot Italian sausage
Sauce:
1/2 c butter
1/2 c flour
1 t salt or less; start with less; the dish is salty because of cheese/sausage
1 t white pepper
4 c milk
1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese
3-4 cloves garlic, pressed or minced very fine
Cheese Layer:
1 1/2 lb. cottage cheese
1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs
2 T basil
Salt and pepper
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
Paprika
Remove Italian sausage from casing and brown in skillet until there is a little crust on some of it. With a potato masher, or other comparable tool, keep mashing and separating the sausage into tiny bits. Remove to double thickness of paper towels, and drain.
Cook penne as directed and drain.
To make sauce, melt butter in medium saucepan, when the foam disappears, add garlic and cook for a minute or so more; remove from heat. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to boiling, stirring. Reduce heat; simmer 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
In bowl, combine ziti, browned sausage, and sauce.
To make cheese layer; in medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, Parmesan, eggs, basil, salt and pepper; mix well.
In bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish, spoon half the penne sauce mixture. Layer with cheese mixture. Spoon on remaining penne sauce mixture. Sprinkle with grated Mozzarella and paprika. Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Makes 10 servings.

I did the same thing as @Nightowlz and copied all the Hollee recipes before she took her site down. My folders look pretty much the same. Here is a link for older Lilbitmissty recipes. I am sure there are many more since 2015. I know she does not post frequently but it is always nice when she pops up.

Thanks for posting those. I have them now. As far as I know all the recipes I copied from Hollee's site are no longer available online?
