I just came across this recipe while "surfing," so I thought I'd share it here. I haven't prepared it yet, but it seems to be a version of the Chex Mix - and in a crock pot sounds interesting!

I know making it in the oven is a cinch, (stirring in crock pot sounds easier!) but for people who want to avoid heating up the kitchen - or during the holidays when you want to prepare something in the oven WHILE making something else, I thought this would work!

Ranch Slow-Cooker Chex Mix

Author: Lauren Greutman

Prep time:  5 mins

Cook time:  2 hours

Ingredients

½ cup of butter (1 stick)

2 packs of Hidden Valley® NEW Greek Ranch Dip Mix

3 cups of Corn Chex

3 cups of Rice Chex

2 cups of Gluten-free pretzels (can use regular if you want, but it won't be gluten-free)

2 cups of Corn Chips (Fritos)

Instructions

  1. Add Chex, pretzels, and corn chips to your Slow-Cooker.

  1. Melt ½ cup of butter and mix in 2 packs of Hidden Valley® NEW Greek Ranch Dip Mix.

  1. Pour butter and Ranch mix over dry ingredients.

  1. Stir until covered

  1. Cook on high for two hours, uncovered.

  1. Lay on flat surface to cool.

  1. Serve and enjoy!

I'm sorry! I just saw this!

I did an online search, and I found that Snyder's makes gluten-free pretzels - maybe in a supermarket nearby?? Hope so!
