Just saw these served at a shower at church, and I thought "How clever!" followed immediately by "How tasty!"

(1)

Slice store-bought Cream Horns (find at Kroger or at Wal-Mart) into circles and lay out on a platter. Top each with half of a fresh strawberry, cut side down. Perfect bite-size combination of sweet, crispy, and fruity.

(2)

Also, they served very small squares of Key Lime Cheesecake dipped in dark chocolate (as you would make a chocolate-dipped strawberry). I don't have a recipe for these, but I would think the cheesecake squares would need to be in the freezer for a little while before dipping to keep them firm in the warm chocolate. Odd but good combo of flavor and texture.
