When I first heard my friend talk about these, I couldn't imagine the taste of cheese and marshmallow together, but they are really yummy. When she makes them for groups, she can't pull them out of the toaster oven fast enough to keep up with the demand.

Daffodils

(Violet Marsh)

Vi, who is now 79, learned to make this when she was in the Tenth Grade.

Round Ritz Crackers

Presliced Cheese (American Singles)

Marshmallows (Large are easier; or use 6 mini-marshmallows on each cracker)

Cut each slice of cheese into 4 pieces. Put one of the quarter slices on each cracker.

Put one large marshmallow on each cracker. Put a dot of cheese on top of each

marshmallow. Put in oven for a short time; watch closely. Let marshmallows brown just a little, enough to get soft and melt the cheese a little. Gobble them down.
