Hey Chili,
You do realize that too many of thos margaritas will enduce the same reaction as eating the green things you don't like, too!
Are you kidding???!!! LOL!!!!!
I'm lucky to stay awake through one Sista'!!!
All I can say is stay with the frozen margaritas as all that ice, waters them down! The drinks on the rocks may put you under the table! DH's mother, who only weighed over 100 lbs when pregnant, use to say, if you're going to drink, drink! She woud drink 4 Roses straight up- just the smell puts me to sleep! I always tell DH she probably learned to drink that way from having to raise him and his brother!

I couldn't help myself LOL!
and they were EXCELLENT, well written points Chili!
You go girl!
I was thinking maybe I should post some of these recipes in a new thread but if that is their attitude...I'd rather just keep them friendly and post here.
I like it where I feel welcome and safe.

I just went and looked. They do seem delish and easy!
Do you think they mean a block of mozzarella as oppose to fresh mozzarella?
I'm guessing a block of cheese.
Fresh mozz has a totally different consistency. More like ricotta.

Well the good news is today's work day is over for me. The rest of it didn't go so well.
It is just an incredible amount of new information/things that I just cannot get sorted out in my head. I did cry (twice) not sobbing mind you but got teary eyed. I know it will get better with time but right now I'm just really down.
Everybody here is very nice and a manager has taken pity on me and given me her direct number if I need help (it only took them a half hour to realize I was going to be heavy lifting).
Thank again for all your kind words and support throughout this journey as I always so appreciate it . . . ![]()

Awwwwwwww, I will NEVER understand why companies slam their new employees with so much at first. Why wouldn't it make more sense to ease everyone into the program. Seems like it would be better all around.
Hugs my dear, dear friend!!!

It's ok @ChiliPepper, at least I'm still breathing . . . ![]()
I so wanted to get up and just leave. I noticed we must have lost a couple more people as I didn't see at least one that said they were going to be in today.
I didn't get nearly enough sleep last night so I know that didn't help. I wish the weather had stayed a tad cooler through this week as I was already warm last night.
I'll be ok, I just haven't felt so undereducated in a very long time.

awww @momtochloe
I'm so sorry...I just KNOW it will get better. Pretty soon you will be looking back at this training period as a distant memory.
I wonder if they throw ppl to the wolves to see how you handle the pressure? If you are still there and still breathing...they know they have a good employee on their hands.
I would think that is stupid but what do I know.
You hang in there my friend...take each day step by step....and we will be praying for your wisdom in deciding if this position is for you!
My GF didn't have such a great first day yesty either at her new company. Extensive training and a 10 hr day...plus 1 hr commute. She just texted..."I'm home finally"
so I could tell she wasn't in the mood to chat!
I so applaud you both for starting a new path. I don't know if I could do it! I have a friend not too far from you in Elk Grove Village that decided to go to Nursing school !
She just passed her boards but says she is so mentally exhausted she doesn't even want to look for a job until the Fall. I can't even fathom going back to college at my age!
Look how hard it was to teach me to post a silly picture! LOL
