Happy New Year everyone.  Lots of rain here today, so glad it's not snow.  Tomorrow will be 60, so it will be a good day to get some fresh air.

Good evening K-Team!!!

Happy, happy New Year!!!

I had the day off so I slept in a little bit. Did some shoveling, picking up & laundry. Glad that's done.

Looking forward to the New Year, hoping this year is better.

Prayers that Respect's family continues to heal & the rest of you stay healthy!

Hi, Chili!

It's always good to start the week off with laundry already being done, isn't it?

I made some homemade cream of mushroom soup.  We watched some of our favorite "Big Bang Theory" episodes and spent some time catching up with friends and family on the phone.  All in all, we had a relaxing Sunday.

Hello K-Team.

I've been busy with post funeral, Christmas and New Year's activities.  It has been so busy; where did December go?   Just wanted to let you all know I have had you all in prayers and am trying to organize my life so I can be more present here.

Nothing new to report which is a good thing!  DH and I did put ourselves on the county list for a covid vaccine when available.  Looks like we all have sailed safely thru the holidays  but won't shoot off any fireworks until Friday or Saturday as that will mark the end of our 2 week quarantine after gathering with family for my brother's funeral and then Christmas.  I can't forsee any futher gatherings at this point.

Hope you all are healthy and staying warm and well fed.  Hope to be back to a more normal soon.   Heart

So tell me, did anyone make any New Year's resolutions?   I normally do not; I hate it when I fail but this year, I am going to try to take one room at a time and get rid of any superfluous items.  It is so difficult going thru items of a lost loved one and I decided to try to attempt to get rid of what I can now.  That's a big bite and realize that it may take more than a year, but it is my goal.  DH has put a stake in the ground that he will retire in April; I know that since he made that declaration to our kids, he may not heed his statement.  I want to get ready for it no matter what.

Ok, anyone else want to fess up?!

Mustang,

You must be exhausted with having to deal with all the activities related to your brother's death and go through two holidays back to back as well.

We will keep you and yours in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,
