@mustang66lady Continued prayers for brother mustang and your family.
My next door neighbor's mother passed on Thanksgiving. Flowers were delivered earlier that week to her house, but she lives at her mother's about a mile away. I texted her to let her know they were there and she told me her mother had a massive stroke and hospice was brought in. Her mother had had health problems for about 15 years since her first stroke and they were needing to put her in a nursing home but were holding off as long as possible due to covid.
She had joked that her mother would ruin Thanksgiving for her for the rest of her life by choosing Thanksgiving to pass away.
As one life passes, another is born. My niece gave birth last night to a baby girl. 8.3 lbs. She was due on Thanksgiving and had her follow up the day after and they scheduled her for this coming Thursday to be induced if she didn't go into labor before then because the baby was measuring large. She went into labor yesterday around noon and the baby was born around 9:30 pm.
Since only one person can be at the hospital, we are getting our info in drips and drabs on delay. LOL

Wonderful news on that sweet precious baby!
With the holiday rotating, she may have a Thanksgiving birthday some year.

VaBelle,
I am sorry to hear that your neighbor's mother passed away on Thanksgiving. That always is tough when a loved one dies on a holiday. Your neighbor is in my thoughts and prayers.

Good Morning from Snow and Icy Western New York!
Snow started Sunday night and continued through last night. Only about 3 inches or so up North by me...much more South of Buffalo.
However, my country road leading to the office was a tortuous sheet of glass this morning. I didn't even know my truck could go only 2 mph! I don't think a salt truck went on that road in 2 days! My first road was totally clean and down to payment!
Strike maybe of these road workers? LOL Dunno but sorry to see the trucks and cars flipped over in the ditch like that!
Thankful to see the sun come out then and hear plow trucks go by.

VaBelle,
Congratulations on the arrival of the dear little one. May she have a happy and healthy life (and may her parents get some sleep every now and then).
