@Writer with Flair, My bonus daughter has the book. Way back when, she was a vegetarian and loved Irregardless and one in Chapel Hill named Pyewacket. Pyewacket went out of business. My favorite was the Lemon Tahini dressing and tabouleh. There is a small Lebonese restaurant that has become my favorite for tabouleh though. I have not been there since I am home taking care of my husband but she picks up lunch there and brings it here for us. Thanks for the recipes.

@momtochloe wrote:@tiny 2 how did things go with the electrician this week? Hope you and Mr. Tiny are doing well and getting ready for the weekend my friend . . .
@momtochloe Yes, they came and put in 2 new outlets. He thought we would get the most function out of the machines with a dedicated outlet for each machine so they are in. The air/heat for the downstairs had tripped the electric again and they shut it down and we called the HVAC guys back and it was a short that did some damage but it looks to be a repair situation and not a total replacement. The short has been repaired and the crank something part has to be ordered.
We are hibernating this weekend because there have been so many people in and out everyday this week. We are tired.

Thought I'd share the story of what I fixed myself for dinner last night. So easy it was like falling off a log backwards..
DH was out of town for the weekend, so I made something I knew I would probably like, but him not so much, because he likes but doesn't love Asian flavors and likes his veggies separate from meat. I like them all mixed up.
I had a bag of frozen stir-fry veggies ( containing broccoli, various types of peppers, some Chinese-style noodles, and other stuff) and some chopped white meat from a store-bought rotisserie chicken.
Per veggie package instructions, I lightly oiled a heated stainless steel wok-shaped pan and threw in the vegetables and shortly after that, added the chicken.
After about two minutes of sauteeing, I added some stir-fry Szechuan Spicy Sauce (brand name Tsang) and stirred around in the hot pan for about another two minutes.
Very good eating. Too easy. Nice one-pan dinner. Ate the leftovers just now for lunch.
DH can go out of town more often, as far as my menu preferences are concerned. LOL!!

Happy Hot Sunday K-Team
Muggy and humid with the promise/threat of rain that just doesn't seem to come. I will have to go out a little later and water plants that are drooping. Too hot to try to do it now.
No cooking today but am wishing I had picked up one of those rotisserie chickens last evening from SAM's. I was tired and didn't feel up to dealing with it then and they are easier to bone while they are warm. Today I wish I had pushed myself a little harder.
Hope all are having a relaxing day and @novamc1 -I think your meal creation sounds wonderful. Have you tried the chicken egg rolls that come in the freezer case at Aldi's? They have pork also but I have not tried those. The point is there are 4 to a box and they have a really good flavor. Would go great with your new recipe, should you decide to create it again, or any Asian type food. I usually can't eat a complete dinner when we get Chinese takeout, so I will warm mine up and fix one of these egg rolls to go with it the next day.

@tiny 2 wrote:@mustang66lady, Have you had some improvement with your leg?
The swelling has gone down but I think that is due to a change in my BP med. I still have antibiotic to take so will see how it is when I am done. Not sure what else my Dr. has in his bag of tricks.
How is your DH? Have you had to add the extra concentrator yet? Have had you both in my prayers.
@mustang66lady, Yes, They got the outlets in and I have him on both now.

@novamc1 you are rapidly becoming my gourmet sherpa as this sounds delicious and I am going to have to go look for that sauce but yesterday for lunch I tried Margaret Holmes Red Beans and Rice and I love it! Thanks for the heads up as it makes a tasty and different little side dish.
