@momtochloe

We have been dark and cloudy all day and windy earlier in the day thru early afternoon.  I think we may have this thru Saturday before it clears up.  Hope you are enjoying this cooler weather and break from running the a.c.!  What's cookin' at your house today?

@RespectLife

Are you snuggling under your blanket with your furbaby yet?!  It looks nasty outside but it isn't too bad-yet!  My furbabies would disagree though-it's cloudy so they think they should be inside!  I had to bring them in early yesterday as a coyote has decided to stalk them.  Hadn't seen one since last year but he's back-explains why we haven't seen too many deer lately.

@novamc1

Thanks for sharing your recipe for pimento cheese-I'm glad to see the one I have been using isn't too different!  The nasty stuff we have here is so orange, and it is gummy in texture.  I could never figure out why anyone would gush over pimento cheese!  Every Southern cook on the Food Network, and about every Southern blogger has a recipe for it and all wax poetic about it.  Now I understand!  Can't imagine why in the world anyone would make, let alone purchase that orange, waxy stuff they try to push off as pimento cheese here!  Woman LOL

Thanks for all the good wishes and advice.

I emailed through the patient portal and got an answer.  However, I need to sleep so I'm taking the naproxen.  I don't know how people deal with real chronic pain.  Mine is like a 3 and I'm not happy about it.  LOL

It's really the injection sites, not the incision.  Just like when you have dental work done.

I take AL's turmeric but I've been off of it for a week due to the fact that it is a blood thinner.  I stopped all of my blood thinning supplements a week ago in preparation for this, but started them again when I got home.

i can take the bandages off after 24 hours and shower.  The bandages are uncomfortable because they put them on so tight.  They have loosened up a bit from moving around, especially the one on my neck as I had to turn my head to drive.

I'm sure I'll be much better tomorrow.

Thanks again.

Happy Friday peeps!

The naproxen did the trick.  I got a decent night's sleep.  This is why I scheduled this for the middle of my vacation because I knew it wouldn't be something where I can work the next day, even from home.

I think it will be better once I take off the gauze and tape this afternoon.

I'm also glad I did them both at the same time because I had a feeling I wouldn't be too keen to run back there and have the other one done.  When I had my ears pierced, it was back in the day when they did it one ear at a time.  It was all my friend could do to get me to go back and get the other ear done.  We walked around the mall for a very long time.  LOL

I got my garbage cans outside with no problems.  And that is the extent of my moving around for today.

I am also thankful that this fell during the rainy part of my vacation, so I don't feel bad at all staying inside, vegetating in bed watching tv.

I hope everyone has a great Friday.

Good morning VaBelle! I'm glad you are feeling somewhat better & you were able to sleep last night.

When I got my ears pierced, my step-sister did it with an ice cube & a needle!!! I can't believe I would let her do the second one - I must have REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanted pierced ears 'cause no-way would I do it now LOL!!!

BTW, she was a LPN so I wasn't totally an idiot I guess!!!
