Lemonade Margarita
Homemade Lemonade1 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice3/4 to 1 cup sugar or a sugar substitute. You can add more or less depending on how you like it!6 cups water
Directions:Boil water and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add in the fresh squeezed lemon juice and pour into a heatproof glass pitcher. Refrigerate until cold. You can make this the day before you serve your gusts!
Lemonade Margarita1/2 cup lemonade1 lime wedge1 ounce tequila (we used Reposado, but you can use your favorite Repo or Blanco)
Directions:Salt the rim of your glass, pour in 1/2 cup lemonade, 1 ounce tequila and squeeze a lime wedge. Stir and then top with ice. You can use a shaker if you want, but to make it easier you don’t have to.
@ChiliPepper this is so funny . . . on my way home today I stopped off at a store that if you bought beer you were able to purchase Ballpark Hotdogs and Ballpark Hotdog Buns for a penny . . . on my way into the store I saw a huge display of Jose Cuervo ready to pour margaritas and one of them was Lemonade . . . ole baby!

No rush...but what is with the ammonia and tennis balls?
What ya doing? Does it work on rabbits???
We have the dumbest rabbits who keep coming inside the fenced yard driving Condi, (the puggle) and MAYOR of the entire neighborhood out of her flipping mind!!
Respect, skunks hate ammonia but I believe it was mustang that gave me the idea of soaking tennis balls in ammonia and shoving them under my porch. I thought they had left but today there is clearly new evidence of them nesting so it will be wall to wall ammonia around here for the next couple of weeks . . . they are cute but too stinky thank you very much . . . ![]()

How to Make Rabbit Repellent
Items needed:
Directions:
To make the repellent fill an old milk jug with water, add 5 crushed garlic cloves, a teaspoon of crushed red peppers (you can save a packet from the pizza delivery for this) and 1 Tablespoon of dish soap. Shake well; then let it sit in the sun for a day or two to make sure the water is saturated with the flavors and smells.
Shake well, then spray or pour on the plants that you don’t want the rabbits to eat.
I had to reapply once a week for a couple of weeks to convince the rabbits that my tulips were never going to taste good again.
With my other bulbs I sprayed them as soon as they started to poke through the ground and then reapplied the repellent once a week and after it rains.
Only problem with this Respect is Condi might lick whatever you spray it on too.

Thanks @ChiliPepper
The problem isn't them eating...it's them coming inside our fence.
I wonder if I could spray this on the grass all around the perimeter of the fence?
Condi never goes outside of it.
I printed for DH
Thanks!

Well I would say that went rather well! I'll give you the Cliff Notes version first and then my personal observations.
Talked to a couple of companies but then found a staffing agency called Chase Staffing. Hit it off with Mary who was not put off by my length of time out of work nor my 75% pay cut. They are hiring for a positiion(s) 15 minutes away from me and it's research work which I am great at! She thinks I am a great fit and will call me tomorrow to set up a more formal interview but I am sooooo excited!!!
Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers my friends, they certainly do work . . .
I'm so glad I decided to wear that interview underwear today for you in solidarity! Double Undie Powah!

Here is my main dish favorite salad for summer:
Succotash Salad with Buttermilk-Avocado Dressing
The dessing is killer. You don't even need to make the salad. The dressing is fabulous on chicken.

This looks like such a delicious meal @VaBelle35 but I'm not sure I have seen lima beans around here . . . maybe a quick swap out of black beans, yes?

Good morning Kitchenettes . . . TGIF!
We are in for three glorious days in terms of weather. After the Comcast guy is done, I am going to finally drag out the Masterbuilt grill for some weekend grilling. I can't wait!
