@novamc1  Good to hear from you.  Craigslist is an interesting social experiment for sure.

I'm watching the video Chaz posted on the Barbra Streisand concert last night in LA.  It's fabulous and she is doing a ton of stuff from A Star is Born, which is my favorite album of hers.

Now I want to watch the movie.

Good morning everyone

I hope you all are sleeping in.  We had good sleeping weather last night, down to the low 60s.  Today is going to be a repeat of yesterday in terms of weather, so I am happy that I have no meetings scheduled today (and none scheduled in my absence yesterday!) so I can get some things done and then head out at 5 and enjoy the evening.

I've already looked at my email and scanned for burning issues, of which there were none, so this may be a good work day for me.

Have a great day and I'll see you all later ;o)

CROCKPOT CUBE STEAK

This was our dinner tonight and it was very good.

4 cube steaks

1 pk onion soup (dried)

1/2 cup water

1 can mushroom soup

Add everything to crockpot. Set on low and let it cook for the day. Use the gravy over potatoes, rice, or sliced bre

Chili's Note:

I have this in the Crock Pot here at work. I tweaked it a little (garlic, parsley, onions, potatoes, broth instead of water - will add peas later).

BOY, does it ever smell good in here!!!

I got a gift card from work way back when. I broke down yesterday & bought myself a present with it for my yard. I love these, been wanting them for a long time.

Good Morning, everyone!  On this Thankful Thursday, I am very thankful to be back with ya'all again.  As dear Chili said...been a tough time lately for so many!!

@ChiliPepper

I need these!  Where did you get them and were they expensive?

We have a koi pond and if we don't have decoys, those stinking Blue Herons swoop down and feast on our fish!

Our current crane statue took a face plant during a huge windstorm and broke both of his legs.  Couldn't find any glue that worked so we duck taped him back together.  His beak has to lean forward on a post to hold him up.

It is a small koi pond in the corner of our fenced area with a beautiful fancy pine tree above it which we 'thought' hid it.  There is a lovely waterfall into the pond.

About 3 years ago, the Herons found us.  Emptied the pond of fish and licked it clean.  When I got home and went to feed them...I wondered what the heck DH did w/ all the fish?  Pond empty.  Did he give them away?  POOF!  Vanished!!  We thought a racoon...but they would have trashed the rocks and made a mess.

Nope...later the beast returned to the scene of the crime looking for more food...and we caught him red handed with his Terradacktal head in our little pond.

Who knew!  Now we do...ever since...STATUE DECOYS...and unlike the vole sticks...they work!

The dinosaur creatures fly right over and haven't eaten at our pond for 3 yrs. now.

Edited to say:  I kept reading and see you got them at BJ.  I don't have a membership there but now is the time of year to start to look for those on sale!

I got them at BJ's Wholesale Club. You have a few stores in your area.

I am on the free, 90 day trial period that they run all the time in the Sunday paper coupon section.

Just google "BJs Wholesale Club" (MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE WORDS WHOLESALE CLUB IN THERE LOL!!!!!).

They are on line for $ 229.99 a pair, but they were in the store for $ 139.99. They look like the exact same thing to me so I don't understand that deal.

Anyways, they had a $ 20.00 off coupon but that was still a lot. When I went the other day, they had them on clearance for $ 83.00 which is a great price I think.

So I grabbed them up. They are nice, well made, sturdy. They're big, like 3-1/2 to 4 feet tall. You will need to anchor them down though (they come with metal ground anchors).

If I had the money & it wasn't "Back to School" time, I'd get another set. Don't be greedy Chili LOL!!!

Good morning everybody . . . Smiley Happy

Good morning @RespectLife if you "right click" on the image of @ChiliPepper new friends and use "Google search this image" it will take you to the sites that carry these birds.  They show BJ's which has the best price but they are also at Overstock and they are just a few dollars more.  If you have never shopped with Overstock I have done a ton of business with them and couldn't recommend them more.  Great company and great prices!

I got this a month or so ago. It was $ 20 - 25 dollar-ish I think. They had frogs too but I got the crane. It's cheaper now but all my store has left now is frogs.
